"They're saying 'LET’S GO BRANDON!'"

The female NBC Sports anchor thought she was distracting the attention of her audience away from the loud F*ck Joe Biden chant emanating from the crowd at the Talladega Superspeedway by saying it was “Let’s Go Brandon” that the folks were jubilantly yelling. Brandon Brown, who had just won his first race on the circuit will surely now go down in history, not so much for his win but as being the foil for the medias attempt to fake the news to protect Uncle Joe.

Since that momentous occasion, the chant “Let’s Go Brandon” has become ubiquitous. It can, after all, be used in many places where “F*Joe Biden” would be, well, problematic.

Recently in the Denver Airport, a page for “Lesgo Brandon” came across the sound system. Apparently it’s happening in airports all over the world. “Let’s Go Brandon” is the title of two rap songs topping the iTunes chart. There is a clip that has gone viral of airline pilots communicating with air traffic controllers substituting “Let’s Go Brandon” for “10-4.” Biden was met with the chant by hundreds of protestors in Michigan and thousands of memes like this one (insert Moe’s Bar meme) where Bart Simpson is continuing his prank of calling Moe’s bar and Moe falls for it every time, are flooding social media.

A friend at lunch the other day asked why I thought this heretofore unheard of phenomena was sweeping the country. Well let’s see. Maybe because gas prices and inflation are soaring, a supply-chain crisis has hobbled the economy, people won’t work cuz they can make more by staying on the dole, the border is disaster of unparalleled proportions, at least 500 Americans and thousand of Afghan allies were left to be tortured and die in Kabul, Covid deaths are rising at an alarming rate, China is developing hypersonic weapons and threatening Taiwan because they know Biden is incompetent, crime rates are soaring, the Department of Justice is preparing to raid school board meetings in search of domestic terrorists disguised as concerned parents, more vaccine and mask mandates are being handed down, except to illegal aliens, by Doctor Mengele’s portage Dr. Fauci, and the leader of the free world is wandering in a daze on the White House Lawn.

So what has created this unprecedented visceral rejection of a President in modern times? Well, as Homer Simpson says, DOH?!
