Rittenhouse Trial: Prosecutor Claims You Lose Right to Self-defense When Carrying Gun

Thomas Binger neglecting safety

Kenosha, WI – The legal teams gave their closing statements on Monday in the case of Wisconsin V. Rittenhouse.

The prosecution asked for and was granted two and a half hours to make their closing statements. Rittenhouse’s defense team scoffed at this request but did not put up a fight.

The prosecution is, by all accounts, in a hole they need to dig themselves out of. Between their star witness, who admitted to pointing a gun at Kyle, and their repeated scolding by the Judge, the prosecution needs to pull out all stops if they have any hopes of getting Rittenhouse convicted.

Pull out all stops they did.

Chief prosecutor, Thomas Binger, contradicted his own witness’ testimony and falsely claimed that Grosskeutz did not point a gun at Rittenhouse despite Grosskreutz explicitly saying he did, under oath.

But that’s not all…

Binger also told the jury,

You lose the right to self-defense when you’re the one who brought the gun when you’re the one creating danger.

This statement is a complete lie. Legally carrying a firearm, as Rittenhouse was in Kenosha that night, in no way impacts his right to self-defense.

Americans have the right to defend themselves by any means when their life is in danger, as Rittenhouse’s defense team argued.

You’d be wrong if you thought the clownery ended there. At one point in the closing statements, Binger held up Rittenhouse’s AR-15 and pointed it at the jury with his finger on the trigger.

Granted, it is likely that the firearm was unloaded, but as many are seemingly learning for the first time following Alec Baldwin’s incident on the site of Rust, the first rule of gun safety is to always assume the gun is loaded.

After a long Monday of back-and-forth arguments, the jury is not deliberating on Kyle Rittenhouse’s guilt. America’s Citizen Press will report on the verdict when available.

  1. This trial is a mockery. Meanwhile protesters are flooding the city threatening to riot if he’s acquitted. Jury Intimidation anyone? This should never have even gone to trial as it was a clear case of Self Defense from the beginning.

The Prosecution has lied, manipulated and withheld exculpatory evidence. The Media has inflamed the Protesters with their Lies, and Politicians joined in.
The Mob is threatening the lives of the Judge and the Jury trying to intimidate the Jury into a guilty verdict.
If there was ever a case for a Mistrial with Prejudice, it’s the Rittenhouse trial.

  2. Why is this show trial not over?
    Kyle is obviously innocent?
I can only assume the Jury is intimidated by the savages in the street?

  3. So if someone has a gun pointed at me and shoots I’am dead but if I have a gun I can’t use it to defend my self? So I’am still dead. How stupid is that.

  4. Seems like the more the prosecutors talk the less likely they will get a conviction. The little I saw of the communist net news the more likely I would NOT find Kyle guilty, and with the weapon stupid prosecution it should be a slam dunk acquittal or dismissal without possibility of retrial.

  5. Bingers the biggest buffoon we can dig up, that us aside from Brandon and the rest of the dems. This clown is the worst liar I have seen in open court. All marxists are liars but this fool tops them all!

  6. OBAMA is the person that has caused and supported voter fraud in America and wants to destroy America. He supports all unrest on the streets and and hides and never does anything to support the American people. He is a MUSLIM terrorist and we will have major problems as long as he is around.

  7. Now it’s time for Kyle and his attorneys to get busy filing slander law suits against
EVERY mainstream media that lied and damaged his reputation. Slander and defamation of character should be hot on their minds right now and the list of offenders needs to include dickhead Biden who called him a domestic terrorist. Also, this prosecutor needs to be brought up on ethics charges and disbarred.
