March for Life 2022 Could Be One for the History Books

Chicago, IL – On January 8th, March for Life took Chicago. Thousands of pro-life activists attended to show support for the lives of unborn children forecasting what could be a historic event two weeks from now.

On the 21st, March for Life will hit Washington, D.C. just one day short of the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade which created a “Constitutional Right to an abortion.”

What makes this year’s march so significant is that it may be the last March for Life in the Roe v. Wade era.

Last month, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson which is a challenge to Mississippi’s abortion ban at 15 weeks. The Roe case specifically allows abortion up to 23 weeks.

The Supreme Court, with a conservative majority, is positioned to be able to overturn Roe v. Wade entirely after the release of the Dobbs decision.

Even moderate Chief Justice John Roberts signaled skepticism to the 23-week threshold set out in Roe.

In 2018, a baby born at 21 weeks set the record for the most premature baby born on record. The baby could have been legally aborted in all 50 states under the Roe ruling.

This year’s March for Life could very well be the end of Roe – which has claimed the lives of more than 62 million babies.

In Chicago, the March was met with a flurry of pro-abortion advocates as well as the leftist militant group, Antifa. Which claims the pro-life movement to be affiliated with Nazism and fascism.

Similar counter-protests are likely to occur in Washington, as well. So, if you are attending the March in Washington, America’s Citizen Press strongly encourages safety and vigilance to avoid harm from pro-abortion mobs.

The Supreme Court will make its decision this year, and only time will tell if the Pro-Life movement finally sees the end to Roe v. Wade.
