Extreme Prosecutorial Misconduct on Display in Rittenhouse Trial

Kenosha, WI – The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is underway in Wisconsin. Rittenhouse faces two charges of 1st-degree murder stemming from the events of August 25, 2020, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Rittenhouse is accused of killing two people during the riots that resulted from a Black Lives Matter protest. Rittenhouse, who was carrying an AR-15, says he attended the event to help keep the peace following multiple nights of riots and unrest.

Rittenhouse did provide medical assistance to multiple people throughout the night and helped put out a couple of fires. At one point in the night, a man allegedly threatened Rittenhouse and began chasing him. When the man reached for Kyle’s gun, Kyle fired his weapon killing the man.

A nearby crowd then chased Rittenhouse, who eventually fell and was attacked. Rittenhouse fired again – striking one man in the arm and another man in the stomach resulting in that man’s death. Rittenhouse then got back on his feet and ran towards the police.

A little more than a year later, Rittenhouse faces trial.

Prosecutor Thomas Binger is making headlines nationally for his conduct throughout the trial. On multiple occasions, Binger has found himself in hot water with the judge, Judge Schroeder.

At one point on Wednesday, Judge Schroeder dismissed the jury so he could reprimand Binger for legal misconduct. Binger attempted to submit video evidence that was not approved by the judge, which is not allowed as it may unfairly influence the jury.

But that wasn’t the first time Binger’s actions were questionable.

Binger also criticized Rittenhouse when he was on the stand for using his 5th Amendment Right to remain silent on the night of the shooting. Anyone with any basic knowledge of the law knows that you can’t admonish anyone for exercising the 5th Amendment. Guilt cannot be attributed to that silence.

The prosecution has been so irresponsible, Rittenhouse’s defense team has requested a mistrial with prejudice, which would prevent Kyle from facing these charges again and he would walk free. The judge has not accepted or denied this request yet.

The prosecution’s case is also on thin ice as is. Binger at one point questioned Rittenhouse as to why he did not give medical help to Gaige Grosskreutz, who is the person who was shot while attempting to shoot Rittenhouse. Grosskreutz still held his firearm following the shooting.

The implication that Rittenhouse was supposed to assist Grosskreutz with medical attention after Grosskreutz attempted to kill him is laughable at best.

The trial is still ongoing, but the prosecution’s conduct is concerning going forward and the judge has put them on notice.

  1. In hopes that one day Binger will be in a similar situation and be treated in the same unethical manner.
He needs to lose his law license!

  2. In the Rittenhouse case we are witnessing what happens when the inmates run the asylum. I am not an attorney (although I have watched many, many episodes of Perry Mason and Matlock) so I can’t say with any degree of certainty that the prosecutor in this case is incompetent. But, it seems to me he has gotten lost somewhere along the line. From what I have seen I am not sure the prosecutor wanted to bring this case to trial. He may have been pressured to do so by these “so called” activists. Personally, I believe any sane person would have handled the situation Rittenhouse found himself in just as he did.
    Not guilty.

  3. I don’t think people will ever figure it out. 1. If someone accuses you of a crime. Everyone from the cop shop on up believes you are guilty. Why they hold a trial is beyond me except it generates revenue which is all they are concerned about. 2. I have heard those in the business state a trial is just a game. Will not argue with them there. 3. The cost of trying to get to the truth is so ungodly high that most cannot afford it. The ungodly planned it that way on purpose. 4. Stop and think about this if it’s possible. They tell you innocent UNTIL proven guilty. Not innocent UNLESS proven guilty. So it does not matter that you are innocent. They will do everything in their power to bring you down. And the IGNORANT masses do NOTHING. Enjoy your unholy government that criticizes inhumane countries doings against their people while doing worse in our own. They call themselves Dept of corrections (LOL) what a bad joke. They are Dept of corruptions. Okanogan County Washington State has one of the worst So called Cop, Attorney, Court (judges) headed by Kreg Sloan going. They are swimming in murder, drug use, theft and violence against the people. Sloan needs to be executed period. Wake up if you people can.

  4. Because of that gross misconduct, the Judge should automatically grant the Defense motion to declare a mistrial and dismiss the case with prejudice….. Then the Judge should report the Prosecutor to the ethics committee for a hearing…. Since he hasn’t done that yet leads me to believe he is concerned about the threats and potential for rioting in the streets. But he isn’t doing the job he was entrusted with at this point….

  5. The only reason this incident came to trial is irrational hysteria common to democrats. They seem to believe firearms transform holders into crazed murderers who must be eliminated. Paranoia seems a common affliction of leftist radicals. It has given rise to red flag laws, lawsuits that seek to control firearm advertising, disposal, transportation, licensing, etc. No amount of education sways their mind. Hopefully, this trial will cause a few to veer away from their torment.

  6. Like they wanted the case to lose??
    Or No planning for trial
    Thus judges comments
    Or poorly vetted prosecutors
    Rigged for Kyle to win

  7. A Prosecutor has an obligation to set an innocent free as well as prosecute if the evidence provides. This prosecutor should be disbarred and never allowed to practice law again. The evidence shows that Rittenhouse is not guilty of all the charges this idiot prosecutor brought against him. He let BLM influence him, what a shame and a shame. Look at these morons and what needs to be down to the BLM group. They should be prosecuted for rioting, burning stores and more. What happened to those who serve and protect. What a world that these morons don’t want the truth because they are black, and one day it will come back to bite these idiots in the ass.

  8. I have sincere hopes that Kyle’s lawyers sue Binger for every cent he will ever earn. Along with that the local powers that pushed this Faux trial are sued into oblivion regardless of how much money Soros pays to get them out of it.
