Indianapolis, IN – Future Hall of Fame quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, is in hot water with the NFL and mainstream media groups this week as he lands on the NFL’s COVID Reserve List.
Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 last week, which made him ineligible to play this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. The controversy is, however, that Rodgers was not entirely upfront with the media regarding his vaccination status earlier throughout training camp.
The media was under the impression that Rodgers received the COVID-19 vaccine before the season.
When asked during a press conference in August whether he was vaccinated, Rodgers responded: “I am immunized.”
But Rodgers was not talking about the COVID vaccine as he implied. Rather Rodgers was talking about his own, personal health plan which he coordinated with his doctors. The routine involves an assortment of vitamins as well as the consumption of the famed Ivermectin.
Rodgers submitted this health plan to the NFL in lieu of vaccination, which the NFL subsequently denied. The quarterback then continued with his normal routines and agenda, while the media thought he was vaccinated.
Now that Rodgers has tested positive for the virus, and due to his unvaccinated status, is likely ineligible to play for two weeks, the media is unleashing its full fury on the Packers quarterback.
Aaron Rodgers opened up about the controversy on the Pat McAfee Show, a podcast hosted by a former Colts punter.
On the show, he told McAfee that the woke mob is after him in order to cancel him. There’s quite a bit of merit to that. ESPN opened their Sunday pregame show with a half-hour segment bashing Rodgers for his decision.
One of the hosts and a former Steelers quarterback, Terry Bradshaw, said:
We are a divided nation politically. We are a divided nation on COVID-19 — whether or not to take the vaccine — and, unfortunately, we got players that pretty much only think about themselves, and I’m extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers.

Former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson called Rodgers “selfish,” and former Raiders defensive end Howie Long said:
Putting that all in jeopardy and possibly putting your teammates in jeopardy, to me, is selfish.

But the mob, per usual, ignored much of what Rodgers actually said in the interview. Rodgers claims he was clear to his teammates and they all knew his status, something no teammate has disputed. Rodgers also said that his doctor advised against the vaccine.
Rodgers was quick to point out that the mandates and directives from the White House are not in line with science. Rodgers even went on to debunk the “horse dewormer” rhetoric regarding Ivermectin.
