Washington, D.C. — As much as half of the U.S. COVID-19 unemployment money may have been stolen by criminals.
Axios reports:
Unemployment fraud during the pandemic could easily reach $400 billion, according to some estimates, and the bulk of the money likely ended in the hands of foreign crime syndicates — making this not just theft, but a matter of national security.

According to Axios, the CEO Haywood Talcove of LexisNexis Risk Solutions believes “at least 70% of the money stolen” ended up “in the hands of criminal syndicates in China, Nigeria, Russian, and elsewhere. Talcove also asserted that “These groups are definitely backed by the state.”
Folks, this is a massive national security threat.
Even if these numbers are WAY off the mark, this is a problem. Billions of tax dollars going to “foreign crime syndicates” is a national security threat — let alone hundreds of billions of dollars.
Those billions of dollars may now be buying weapons and drugs or funding human trafficking and terrorism around the world.
It is a complete failure by both the federal and state governments to act as good stewards of U.S. tax dollars.
We are not just talking about people taking unemployment benefits instead of working. Our foreign adversaries are benefitting from U.S. tax dollars while states put American citizens on lockdown and eliminate their livelihoods.
But hey, at least some of us got our stimulus checks, right?!

I suspect the administration is in collusion with enabling this fraud. It is an obligated clandestine pay off for the aid the Democrat party received this past general election season. Either that, or this administration’s bureaucracy is the most irresponsible in history; worse than Obama’s distribution nanagenent of bailout funds.
What would you expect? Maybe the Department heads handling that money were replaced by Obama retreads?. I am curious as to just how many foreign illegal aliens are working in the bureaus that hand over taxpayer dollars. They are not putting a dollar amount on the stolen dollars but i believe that it is in the area of half a trillion dollars. How much of that money is sent out of the USA and into Communist countries?. We all know about the Nigerian scams with lonely ladies and old folks bank accounts. and we see that they are now stealing from the taxpayers who will have to make up these losses.. We need to make sure there is no inside help getting funds into foreign criminal hands.

I was watching OAN today and one million nine hundred thousand illegal aliens have entered the USA.in less then 6 months.. I have no idea of how many more evaded the Border Patrol. They are being shipped all over the USA for the local taxpayers to take care of.. This means much higher taxes on homes and sales taxes and if it is an income tax state–those taxes will rise too. OAN keeps a doomsday type of billboard and the cost of illegal aliens is fast approaching one trillion dollars.. We sure miss the orderly way President Trump handled the Illegal alien situation. V.P.
