Chicago, IL —Newly released body camera footage of a gunman who shot two officers in May shows why we fund the police.
The video shows two officers confronting a suspect who is refusing to comply with orders from the officers tailing him.
The two officers meet Lua in an alley, but when they ask him to take his hands out of his pockets, he shoots both officers. The video shows just how quickly a confrontation can turn nasty. See for yourself.

One officer was shot in the hand, and the other officer was shot in the shoulder and collarbone, according to police. Bruce Lua, the suspect, was shot in the leg. Thankfully, everyone involved survived.
The body camera footage from an officer who witnessed the gunfight can be viewed below. It shows officers pursuing the suspect down multiple alleyways before the suspect fires on the two officers who intercepted him.

He sounded like what he tried to inflict on the officers didn’t feel too good when it was inflicted on him.
I think a lot of his screaming was theatrics to try to incite any crowd which might form.
Defund the Police….That idea is completely crazy. We3 don’t pay our police enough to deal with these criminals.
Why does America have to show a certain group of people on how to be more civilized, and comply like everyone else happens throughout history! the medias already like to cause civil unrest and the promotion of racism all for ratings and profits , so do not give them more reason to promote racism!

Why should we be thankful that the POS human being who shot not one but TWO LEOs, why should we be thankful that HE survived? Guy shoots 2 cops, obviously with the intent to kill them? We’d be thankful if he DIDN’T survive.
Not all life is equally precious or innocent. We need to never forget that.
And this is how and why people get shot by police . And the asked for it .
The Perp is fortunate because LEOS are trained to shoot for center Body Mass. Had they hit him in mid section instead of leg–he would have been gone. I hope he gets a nice long sentence and that V.P. Harris does not bail him out of prison.
