Washington, D.C. — President Joe Biden forgot about communists bombing Washington, D.C. while the media swooned over him eating ice cream.
No, this is not parody. It’s real, and the video should churn your stomach.
After first asking the very important question of what flavor ice cream Biden was having (and swooning over his answer like star-struck teenagers meeting their celebrity crush), the press asked Biden about the bill to form a Jan. 6 commission.
After some time to gather his thoughts, Biden parroted the liberal talking point that Jan. 6 was the “greatest assault since the civil war on the, on the Capitol.”
Watch for yourself, and try not to lose your breakfast.
What happened on Jan. 6 was wrong. Make no mistake about that.
However, armed conflict, shootings, and multiple bombings are not directly comparable to what happened on Jan. 6.
On Jan. 6, 2021, hundreds of frustrated voters entered the Capitol building to protest their frustration with what they saw as an unfair election. Some people, who should be held accountable for their crimes, vandalized the Capitol and assaulted law enforcement officers. Many police officers reportedly sustained injuries in the chaos, and one protester was shot and killed.
Now, I believe many Americans today are unaware of these other serious attacks on the Capitol building that occurred during the 20th century.
- July 2, 1915: Erich Muenter bombs Senate Reception room
- March 1, 1954: Four Puerto Rican Americans fire guns in the House, injuring five congressmen
- March 1, 1971: “Weather Underground” bombs the Capitol, causing $300,000 in damage
- Nov. 7, 1983: Communist terror cell “Armed Resistance Unit” bombs the Capitol, causing $250,000 in damage
The Jan. 6 rioters and protesters did not storm the Capitol with guns or detonate bombs in the building. The large majority of people entered the building and left peacefully, contrary to the liberal media narrative that everyone involved on Jan. 6 was a terrorist. While their actions were wrong, do the majority of these people deserve to wear the “terrorist” label?
If anyone deserves to wear the label of “terrorist” in relation to Jan. 6, 2021, it is the yet unidentified person who left pipe bombs outside both the Democrat National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters.
Like that person, the communists who bombed the Capitol in 1983 were actual domestic terrorists.
The bomb detonated at 10:58 p.m. on a night the Senate was scheduled to work late. However, the deliberations moved ahead quickly, and the Senate adjourned at 7:02 p.m. A busy reception near the Senate Chamber reportedly disbursed approximately two hours later. Thankfully, the Senate Chamber was nearly empty when the terrorists called in a bomb threat and detonated the device within minutes.
Potentially lethal shrapnel tore through the Republican cloakroom, the doors were ripped off the Democratic leader’s office, and five paintings were damaged in the blast.
Five years later, arrests were made.
After a five-year investigation, in May 1988 FBI agents arrested seven members of the “Resistance Conspiracy”: Marilyn Jean Buck, Linda Sue Evans, Susan Rosenberg, Timothy Blunk, Alan Berkman, Laura Whitehorn and Elizabeth Ann Duke. They were charged with executing the Capitol bombing as well as triggering similar blasts at Fort McNair and the Washington Navy Yard.

Susan Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison for possession of weapons and hundreds of pounds of explosives. Rosenberg openly advocated for the overthrow of the U.S. government through the use of violence and armed conflict. She was later pardoned by Bill Clinton on Jan. 20, 2001.
As recently as 2021, Rosenberg sat on the board of “Thousand Currents,” which until recently was the fundraising arm for the Black Lives Matter Global Network.
It’s no secret that Black Lives Matter protests devolved into violent and sometimes deadly riots in recent years that saw little condemnation from the liberal media.
What is disgusting and stomach-churning here is the one-sided narrative designed to undermine the integrity of every Republican in the country. The liberal media’s flat-out refusal to ask hard questions of Biden should alarm every American.
Perhaps more alarming is the opportunity that Russia and communist China must see when the President of the United States is spending his day getting a chocolate chocolate chip ice cream cone rather than uniting and leading the country as he promised.
This video is being used to poke fun at Biden and the media, but it should really be viewed as a warning of the dangers looming on the horizon if we continue down this path.
