New York City, New York — Violent crime is increasing in Democrat-led cities that defunded the police in the last year.
After reading these statistics, you have to wonder why anyone actually supports policies to defund the police.
Police departments will struggle to combat these increases in violent crimes with tighter budgets and fewer officers on the street.
The question is, how much damage will be done to these cities before their woke Democrat leaders realize defunding the police is not a good solution?

- Homicide grew by 44% in New York, which had 1,531 shootings and 462 murders in 2020.
- Homicides also increased 36% in L.A. to 350, leading the police chief to say “a decade of progress” has been erased.
- Minneapolis, the center of the “Defund the Police” movement, saw a 46% increase in murders.
- Oakland, California has seen a staggering 314% increase in homicides.
- Portland, Oregon has seen murders triple.
- Austin, Texas has had a 26% increase in aggravated assault reports.
- Chicago saw a 65% increase in homicides from June 2020 to February 2021, despite arrests dropping 53%.
- Philadelphia hit a 30-year-high with homicides in 2020, with 499 people murdered.
- Even smaller cities like Louisville, Kentucky had a record high of 173 murders and is on track to surpass that this year.
One city not mentioned here is St. Louis, which just voted to defund and reduce the police force despite also seeing record levels of violent crime.

Let’s put it this way. Nobody knew much about him prior to COVID or cared. He has tried to hang on to his shooting star by continuing to change his mind. My guess is he could very well be a Sociopath. Do we really care.
I’ve reached the point where I am so fed up with the democrat communists and their burn it down to rebuild it up into communism. That’s what BLM is all about. I don’t care any more about the democrats after being raised to be a democrat. I don’t even know when it happened but I have sensed for years that something wasn’t quite right with the democrats, especially when the Clintons showed up, that started with my moving away from the democrats although looking back I was already leaving the party. If the voters in these cities want their cities burnt down and normal middle class people moving out of their cities and even states than I say let the normal middle class people move because a burnt down city ain’t worth fighting for when your rulers don’t think it’s worth fighting for. Let the cities be run by communists. I will keep on living in my now beloved republican county until the democrat communists start moving in and I will just leave. I have learned I can leave and go elsewhere, I don’t have to stay where my parents lived. A lesson it took me years to learn. As an older person, a hot Florida is looking better than cold weather now-a-days.
the problem is, that when people move out of their cities and states to other states, they don’t leave their liberal/progressive ideas and voting records behind, and they start turning a good state into the cesspools which they left!

It’s predictable. These are the same cities that have been disarming their citizens for decades.
They deserve what they voted for.
Dem run cities and deserve whatever they get.

It disturbs me immensely to see overindulged individuals destroy my beloved country. None of them gave of themselves in the military. Police depts or other quality agencies . As for Biden and his henchmen they have no capabilities to be in charge of our government. With Biden’s prior alcoholism, two aneurysms and current mental state needs to be in a nursing home or with a caretaker 24/7
