Gov. DeSantis Schooled a Left-wing Reporter and Got a Standing Ovation

Tallahassee, FL — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) absolutely schooled a left-wing reporter and received a standing ovation in response.

The new law will enable the state to fine large social media companies $250,000 a day if they remove an account of a statewide political candidate, and $25,000 a day if they remove an account of someone running for a local office. It takes effect July 1.

From Breitbart

It’s not clear whether the law will hold up in court due to 1st Amendment concerns, but it does make apparent the problems with social media censorship.

While taking questions during the press conference, a not-so-friendly reporter tried to tie the bill to Trump. DeSantis wasn’t having it, and his response is perfect!

“The bill is for everyday Floridians. This is what we said, and it will allow any Floridian to provide what they’re doing.” DeSantis said. “But I do think that’s another issue that’s been brought to bear. When you de-platform the President of the United States but you let Ayatollah Khomeini talk about killing Jews, that is wrong.”

Watch DeSantis shred the reporter below.

  1. What a fantastic comeback! And it’s not just great for what he said, but for the audience reaction. Hopefully that stupid broad who thought she was going to make him look bad realizes just how SHE looked in everyone else’s eyes. About 2 inches tall, if that much.

  2. Dims love the Ayatollah and hate the US, so it stands to reason she would have done that. Stupid communist cu*t.

  3. It’s pathetic that even today reporters have a need to draw the past President into every fray. It just goes to show the media have nothing worth asking. Without “the Donald”, the media IS nothing.
A very good response by the Governor. A very poor question by a so-called reporter.
