Lansing, MI — A previously jailed Michigan restaurant owner says Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) should be punished for her COVID-19 hypocrisy.
Whitmer was recently caught violating her own COVID-19 mandate that she issued just a week before, and now she is facing backlash for failing to follow her own rules.
Marlena Pavlos-Hackney made the comment in the wake of Whitmer’s latest scandal.
“I feel like all of us should be on the same page. If I have to face penalties which I went through … I think she should face the same penalties,” Marlena Pavlos-Hackney, who owns Marlena’s Bistro and Pizzeria, said on Fox News.

“We the people, we [are] all equal. It does not matter [that] because you’re the governor, we need to forgive you.”
Pavlos-Hackney was reportedly jailed for four days and forced to pay a $15,000 fine for violating Whitmer’s COVID-19 restrictions on restaurants in February.
On the other hand, Whitmer appears to be getting away with just an apology because the rules don’t apply to the elite ruling class. The rules only apply to her subjects, like Pavlos-Hackney and other business owners who were directly harmed by Whitmer’s strict mandates.
Whitmer should face whatever penalties are laid out in the order she violated, just like the rest of the citizens in her state that she treats like her subjects.

Hope Whitmer realizes she is not gov forever. The best Michigan can do is vote her a** out of there ASAP. The Snake needs to go spread her venom among those that give two sh*ts about her. Right now, I know of only 12.
Ms. Pavlos-Hackney should receive a public apology from Gov. Whitmer, and her fine should be refunded, her name cleared, with an added financial token of respect from the Governor’s own pocket. That’s what’s expected from our politicians.
Every time I have seen these violations it is a Communist Democrat. From New York to California. They locked me down, But the Communist BLM and ANTIFA RIOTED FOR WEEKS, it is strange that the January 6th. Social Justice Activists were rounded up by the Hundreds, yet with our cities burning our FBI could not find anyone. They even laid siege to an American city and declared it independent, the were murders committed, and no one been arrested because our Government has become the Soviet States of America. If Idaho was smart, along with other States, since the US Government has stopped doing it’s one job, it’s time to go.
