Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) blames both President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken for the failed Afghanistan exit.
“But then there’s the question of how they did this. And that’s really what we need to be talking about now. How Biden did this is so utterly incompetent,” Crenshaw said.
In a Fox News interview, Crenshaw dropped a bombshell claiming the state department overruled a better plan formed by the Department of Defense.
Crenshaw said that “When DOD wanted to make Bagram the last place where we would have troops, the State Department overruled them. It was a foolish mistake because Bagram can hold a lot more aircraft, for instance, than Kabul Airport.”
Crenshaw alleged that this decision was made due to optics. Supposedly, it would have looked bad for the U.S. to leave Kabul (the capital of Afghanistan) before it left Bagram.
“And here’s another thing the State Department never did,” Crenshaw continued. “They never even built a contingency plan to take people out of the embassy. They were planning on just staying even though the conditions on the ground were getting worse and worse and worse. Capital city after capital city was just falling. By Saturday, they had no plans to leave.”
The former Navy SEAL officer said that this information came from insiders and that “the secretary of state owes the American people a lot of explanations for this.”
If Crenshaw’s information is true, then the state department is likely responsible (at least in part) for the disasters evacuation at the U.S. embassy and the airport in Kabul — all in the name of better optics.
It seems like Blinken might owe the American people more than an explanation.

Biden and his entire administration remind me of the Keystone Kops. You have supposedly smart people flopping around like chickens with their head cut off. The Keystone Kops never get anything done but at least they were funny; the Democrats in government aren’t funny, just complete failures. Think Afghanistan, southern border, inflation, crime, etc. and you will see that every action the Democrats take exacerbates the problems rather than solves them. Just ask yourself how you would handle these problems if you were a fool and you would do exactly what Biden and the Democrats have done.
All of this was meant to happen. I am not sure if it is to fully ramp up the “War On Terror” and fleece the American taxpayers some more so the govt. contractors can get rich and give their kickbacks to the politicians or what. All these wars do is make a lot of money for evil people. America has advanced communism throughout the world since WWI. Purposeful loses in Nam, Korea, and now Afghanistan. We are always on the side of communism because of who controls our banks and media. All western countries are controlled by these same people. I do not wish to see anymore of our children die in foreign wars that gain us nothing.
