Albany, NY — A letter from 59 New York Democrat lawmakers called on Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign, saying the governor “lost the confidence” of the public and legislature.
The letter reads, “In light of the Governor’s admission of inappropriate behavior and the findings of altered data on nursing home COVID-19 deaths, he has lost the confidence of the public and the state legislature, rendering him ineffective in this time of most urgent need.”
The demand comes in response to a sixth woman coming forward to accuse Cuomo of sexual harassment. Five of the women worked under Cuomo either in New York or in former President Bill Clinton’s administration. One woman reportedly met Cuomo at a wedding.
Cuomo is also under fire for hiding nursing home deaths from both the public and the legislature.
Of the Democrat caucus, 19 Senators and 40 Assembly members signed the letter.
Despite mounting calls for his resignation, Cuomo repeatedly stated he will not resign. In fact, he reportedly told Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D) they would have to impeach him in a phone call.

Cuomo doesn’t hold a candle to Biden. Get rid of him first then go after 9/10 of the Democrat politicians who are in office at this time–most of them are guilty of everything Cuomo and Biden have done.
