Albany, NY — New York Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo has had a rough year.
Between getting caught red-handed lying about his state’s COVID-19 numbers to the numerous allegations of sexual harassment lodged against him, Gov. Cuomo’s reputation has gone down like the Hindenburg.
Luckily for Gov. Cuomo, though, his brother Chris is one of CNN’s top news anchors. It turns out that over the past year, Chris Cuomo has been secretly having meetings with Gov. Cuomo and senior members of his staff so that he can better handle all the sexual harassment allegations and avoid scrutiny.
The CNN anchor also allegedly advised his brother not to resign despite mounting pressure. Chris Cuomo went on to call it “cancel culture.”
This is a massive breach of journalistic integrity, given that CNN is essentially coaching a politician on how to stay out of trouble. CNN released the following statement in response:
“It was inappropriate to engage in conversations that included members of the Governor’s staff, which Chris acknowledges… He will not participate in such conversations going forward.”
CNN also said that they would not discipline Chris Cuomo for his actions.
CNN claims that they have barred Chris Cuomo from reporting on his brother in the name of journalistic integrity, thereby supposedly leaving the rest of the network to report on the scandals. That said, Chris Cuomo is one of CNN’s primetime correspondents, so the decision to bar him from reporting the scandals isn’t an ideal solution either. CNN even went as far as describing Chris as a “sounding board for his brother” in the same statement.
This is yet another example of how the liberal media protects their own in the face of controversy.
Many on both sides of the aisle have called for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s resignation, but the Governor has repeatedly told media that he will not resign and claims innocence of sexual harassment despite multiple reputable allegations. The Governor went as far as calling the allegations “political” in nature.

It’s comforting in the end to know that although these brothers have a chance at redemption, they will likely burn in the Lake of Fire forevermore.
