Democrat Councilman Demands Gov. Cuomo’s Emmy be Rescinded “Immediately”

New York City, NY — Democrat Councilman Robert Holden (Queens) demanded Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Emmy be rescinded “immediately” in the wake of the administration’s nursing home death coverup.

Holden made the request to the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in a letter obtained by the New York Post.

He stated, “We now know that his TV appearances and clout were used to mislead the public regarding how their loved ones died.”

“Please rescind the Governor’s award immediately, as his actions have been an insult to every New Yorker who lost a loved one during this terrible pandemic,” Holden concluded.

The New York Post is responsible for dropping the bombshell report that Cuomo’s aide admitted the administration hid nursing home deaths from federal investigators.

Cuomo’s reputation as a leader during the coronavirus pandemic is falling to pieces, yet Democrat leaders and the liberal media refuse to cover it in depth. If this was the Trump administration, it would receive many times the coverage.

Yet, Cuomo met with President Joe Biden only days ago, and the top Democrat in the U.S. made no mention of it.

Holden also called out New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio today over an apparent failure to provide a streamlined website for people to register for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Holden pinned this to the top of his page on Twitter earlier today.
