Washington, D.C. — U.S. daily COVID-19 vaccinations are on the decline, according to Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports.
The 7-day average for administered vaccinations peaked in the second week of April. Since then, it has steadily declined.
Approximately 40 percent of the United States has received at least one COVID-19 vaccine, and around 25 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.
The decreasing demand for vaccinations is likely due to several different factors.
The United States has vaccinated more people than any other country in the world. On top of that, of the most populated countries in the world, the percentage of vaccinated persons in the U.S. is at least three times that of other countries. China comes the closest, with over 13 percent of the population reportedly vaccinated.
On top of the high vaccination rates, many younger people are less incentivized to get vaccinated. Unless there is another underlying condition, young people, especially children, have little to fear from contracting COVID-19.
Another likely contributing factor to the decrease in demand is recent reports of unintended side-effects from two of the vaccines in distribution. Though officials lifted the pause on the Johnson and Johnson coronavirus vaccine today, the fact that the speedily developed vaccine was put on hold due to medical concerns is likely a deterrent for many people.
The left is pointing to these numbers to create the narrative that Republicans are endangering lives by not getting vaccinated. This is disgusting and irresponsible propaganda from leftist politicians and the liberal media.
Republican-controlled states that have fully opened continue to see success with COVID-19 infection rates. Hospital facilities are readily available for new infections, and their economies are recovering.
The liberal media is lying through their teeth to the American people to sew fear and maintain control.
At the end of the day, people have a right to make medical decisions for themselves. If they want to be vaccinated, they can get vaccinated. If they wish to wait or not get vaccinated at all, that is their right.

I am not a medical Doctor, but do have a science background. I am very familiar with the testing methods used in a variety of fields. Test programs are not just applicable to the medical field.
i also have a little bit background in economics. Than add 80 years of living in this world. Warp Speed is operating at a speed we currently do not have, but do have the ability to understand the intent. That means get there quicker than every before. There is a balance that has to be applied and one element of the problem cannot have absolute control. What President Trump recognized was virtually all of the elements in the problem. The economy, the mental health issues and the need to stop the dying. The vaccines we have have stopped the dying within a short time frame. Has the test stopped, NO. The testing will continue for years to come and as new vaccines are developed we have new weapons in our quiver. in another 5-10 years we should know how this virus will evolve and how we can correct any potential problems they have. We could have settled for millions more dying and maintained the existing processes. I thank God, that Donald Trump did not settle for doing nothing and letting status quo take care of the problem.
Why vaccinate anyone when Ivermectin, Regeneron or HCQ plus Zinc, Vitamin D and C work? Also Budesonide which I have used for years for Asthma?
