New York City, NY — New York City just mandated proof of vaccination for residents to participate in indoor activities.
Indoor restaurants, entertainment venues, and gyms fall under the vaccine requirement NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Tuesday.
The vaccine mandate takes effect on Aug 16. Enforcement begins on Sept 13.
The mandate includes both employees and customers. It is not clear at this time if there will be any way to opt-out of taking the vaccine for medical, religious, or other reasons.
“If you want to participate in society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated,” de Blasio said.
On Monday, the mayor described the benefits of the two-class system his order created.
“We think it is so important to make clear that if you are vaccinated, you get to benefit in all sorts of ways. You get to live a better life. Besides your health in general, you get to participate in many, many things. And if you’re unvaccinated, there are going to be fewer and fewer things that you’re able to do.”
De Blasio threatened a number of further mandates on Monday.
“Given everything we’re learning, all options are on the table. I keep saying we’re climbing the ladder in terms of more and more mandates.”
“All options are on the table” means shutdowns and stay-at-home orders are also under consideration — if they are not already planned.
The truth is, vaccine mandates will be just like mask mandates.
When COVID-19 cases continue to rise, the government will blame it on people refusing to wear masks and refusing to get the vaccine. Then, the petty tyrants (who do not even follow their own mandates) will shut down the economy again.
Democrats like de Blasio are drunk on power and believe government intervention is the only solution, whether the people like it or not.

If you have common sense and treasure liberty, then it is time to leave New York. Why would anyone want to leave in a state where they destroy your liberty?
No leaving is not the way. The citizens of NY should make him leave. There are no provisions in our Constitution that allow for him to issue orders that affect the very words used to write the document. Freedom is never free and if they continue to allow his orders then they are not ready for freedom.

What is very clear here is that you get to choose between maiming (i.e. the woman who suffered blood clots one week after “vaccination” so severe that she had both legs amputated and by now, probably both hands) and death in the near future after your natural immune system is destroyed, or being unvaccinated and living though not able to attend church or a movie. This megalomaniac joins the long list of others like him seeking to gain fame and fortune from the ignorance and passivity of people who think they have to allow themselves to be led to slaughter by those they elected. Remember, “only” a few hundred such cases have been reported (how many others have been suppressed?) making the percentages SEEM low, but if that happened to you or me, it would add up to 100%!

Forcing citizens to show proof of vaccination is the same as Russia’s law of showing travel papers to go from city To city I believe it’s also unconstitutional and the Mayor of new York or any elected officials that back such a mandate are overstepping their authority.

I want to know what is so important in that vaccine that the elected leaders are going to such lengths to make sure everyone gets one? I have been around this old world for 80 plus years and have never seen anything like this. Even during the days of polio affecting young persons as well as older nothing even approached this boondoggle. How about some lab with the ability get some of these bottles and do a test without the government knowing. Then post what is in it. As for myself I have had many treatments with the same med that President Trump took because it is also used to treat malaria. Further fyi to others my history also have way too many things wrong to take a chance on that vaccine.
