Media Turns on Cuomo After Report Finds Sexual Harassment Claims Credible

Albany, NY — The media turned on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) after a report found sexual harassment claims against him credible.

Well, sort of…

CNN and MSNBC both published pieces that led with Cuomo’s denial of the report’s findings, which we will get to in a moment.

USA Today’s editorial board, in contrast, condemned Cuomo and called for his resignation.

New York Attorney General Letitia James released the 165-page report on Tuesday.

“Governor Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees in violation of both federal and state laws,” James said.

“The independent investigation found that Governor Cuomo harassed multiple women, many of whom were young women, by engaging in unwanted groping, kisses, hugging, and by making inappropriate comments,” she continued.

The report concluded that Cuomo’s denials of the accusations were not credible. It further alleged that Cuomo and his aides retaliated against one of the women who publicly accused the governor and that the administration operated a “toxic” work environment.

The damning report might have finally put enough holes in Cuomo’s seemingly scandal-proof boat to sink the embattled governor.

For those of you keeping score at home, it took multiple investigations by the New York State Attorney General’s office to actually threaten Cuomo’s power in New York.

Not only did James investigate and condemn Cuomo for 11 accusations of sexual harassment, but another of her investigations found Cuomo was responsible for causing and covering up excess COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes.

As mentioned earlier, Cuomo denies all of the accusations.

“I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances. I am 63 years old. I have lived my entire adult life in public view. That is just not who I am, and that’s not who I have ever been.”

Cuomo already accrued over $2 million in taxpayer-funded legal fees for the nursing home scandal. Now, it looks like taxpayers will be on the hook to defend Cuomo for this report, as well.

  1. Nothing is going to happen to him. They are all afraid of him not to mention that he’s a dem and all dems stick together when it comes to wrongdoing and doing things that are illegal. New York is stuck with him.

  2. Got him, at last!!! Now — when are they going to investigate the several claims against the White House “squatter?” Come on, somebody — get on it. Do NOT let him off the hook!! 🙁
