COVID Dangers and Presidential Responses

Trump had a better response than the socialist Democrat Presidents…

Asbury Park, NJ – COVID dangers and Presidential responses. We’re going to cover two issues here. One is a great story of centenarian beating both COVID and the Spanish Flu (well two centenarians). Then we’re going to cover Presidential responses to the Spanish Flu and COVID. Maybe will throw in Obama’s handling of H1N1 – Nah, he’ll love the attention.

So, first, the good news. Two centenarians beat both the Spanish Flu in 1918 and COVID in 2020. For those of you that may have Google “centenarians” (we did), it’s basically people over 100 years old. This, of course, is a “vulnerable” population, and at least one of the two survivors is in assisted living.

The two survivors of both pandemics are sisters! Hopefully, Big Brother will skip haling these two ladies away to some secret facility for tests. But it does raise the question, how dangerous is COVID? Does it warrant lockdowns and mask-wearing? One lady is in New Jersey, and the other is in Brooklyn, New York – near and in the hot spots with over 40% of the death total for the United States. Food for thought.

In a shocking development, Time Magazine did an article on Presidents and crisis management. Guess who was the worst President in history when it comes to crisis management? You would think that this liberal publication’s conclusion is President Trump. You are wrong!

President Woodrow Wilson is the big winner. Wilson is usually cited as one of the worst Presidents in history, so those of you who follow history probably aren’t surprised. However, we are surprised that Time didn’t take this opportunity to complete bash President Trump as they always do.

From Time via Yahoo!News:

In terms of managing a federal response to the pandemic, “there was no leadership or guidance of any kind directly from the White House,” historian John M. Barry, author of The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History, tells TIME.

Melissa August, The 1918 Flu Pandemic Killed Hundreds of Thousands of Americans. The White House Never Said a Word About It, Yahoo!News, August 11, 2020

Wilson was a Democrat, so throw that in your Twitter adversary’s face when they criticize our President and his COVID response. Wilson did NOTHING!

We want to write a couple of paragraphs of how Woodrow Wilson, starting in 1913, did more to harm our Constitutional Rights than anyone in history with his “Living Constitution” concept. However, here is a [LINK] that you can get the gist if you scroll down that article.

Crisis management for a President is essential. Trump made a Constitutionally sound decision by allowing the States to dictate policy on COVID-19. Politically, we believe this was a miscalculation. Namely, because most Dem Governors chose to close down their states. This was an excellent opportunity for more control by these lefties.

In the process of gaining more control, Dem Governors sought to destroy Trump’s robust economy. Will this hurt President Trump’s re-election? We don’t know, only time will tell.

COVID dangers and Presidential responses. One this is for sure, Trump’s COVID-19 response tops the management of many Presidents. So, his critics can eat crow.

What do you think? Is COVID’s danger overblown? Are those some tough 100+-year-old ladies? What do you think about Trump’s response to COVID? Please write your comments below and on social media!
