  1. No. Bring back public executions, hanging, the guillotine and such. Might go a long way towards curbing violent crime.

  2. I believe we should go case by case, leave it to the judge + jury, but certainly, there are particular circumstances that warrant the decision of a death sentence.

  3. No Kamala Harris has done nothing to secure our borders if anything she has added to the problem.
Harris and Biden are both unfit to be in office and need to be impeached before they completely destroy what is left of our country

    1. I agree with your assessment of Biden and Harris, but unfortunately that would put Piglosi in as President and I believe that would be worse.

  4. With crime today: Free the felons, Defund the police, crime in broad daylight I say Yes then add
Cartels into mix & MS 13 etc. Or we lose

  5. I support bringing back one or all of these forms of execution: Public hanging, the electric chair, the gas chamber and firing squads. Perp’s choice, no appeals by dumbass lawyers.

  6. We need to start making the time between a death sentence to the actual death shorter and far far less PAINLESS. Make those who kill other suffer and make those in Juvenile Facilities watch the execution. That way they know what awaits them if the continue on their destructive path. All ILLEGALS in Prison should be take to the Border and HANED as a message to all ILLEGALS that Criminals won’t be tolerated.

  7. All Sex offenders should be castrated/neutered.
All murders should be executed within a reasonable time of their conviction. Too many loopholes in the U.S. justice system allow murderers to stay alive even though they administered the death penalty to their victims. If you cause the death to another human
being you should sacrifice your life. Example: “affluenza case” in N. Texas.
“I was high on drugs or alcohol and did not know what I was doing” does not count.
Also in the case of under age killers, the parents should be legally held responsible.

    1. Exactly!!!!!!
      Is only common sense !!!!
But nowadays everything is upside down and the country must be bankrupt, history must be erased and re-written , basically the America we know must be “ re invented “ ( the communist way )

  8. Justice is out of control. We have the highest murder/sex crime rate in the civilized world.
The prison are burgeoning with convicted violent felons. according to present statistics,
4 women per day are being murdered by present or ex mates. Too many are free on the streets
because of errors and lax law enforcement. That has to change. Then only 60% of offenders
are prosecuted and given short sentences. Abduction, rape, torture and murder may get you only a 15 year sentence (cutting a deal) and a “get out of jail free” card after 7 years or less for a variety of reasons.

  9. Biden is leading America into a recession ! That’s part of his plan, to destroy America as we know it ! He’s using all the tools at his disposal, higher taxes, high energy costs, illegal immigration, gun control, being soft on criminals, defunding law enforcement, promoting voter fraud and radical environmental regulations, to name a few.

  10. AOC should be kicked in the ass. Get rid of the idiot! Disgusting big mouth nobody! No wonder abortion came to be, people like her are to be locked up or don’t have them!

  11. the death penalty is no longer a deterrent because it is not used enough. Murders and Criminal do not fear the death penalty, because their counter parts the liberal/socialist have gelded the use of it. The allowed appeal process goes on for ever, with all kinds of lawyer generated gymnastic. If a person is convicted of murder 1, automatically death, no appeals, maybe for murder 2 depending on the circumstances. As a consideration let the criminal pick the method. With today’s science, d.n.a, etc, there should be no doubt, if a criminal murdered some one. If the government steps up the use of the death penalty, it might give some a pause before they take a life. There was a time if convicted of murder, the murder was escorted out of the back door of the court house, up the steps, a rope, done, message sent. In today’s society there are very few deterrents to committing crimes , time for a change, time to re-establish real punishment, a deterrent. By the way those who commit murder, have a recidivism of 90%, most other criminals 85%, they fear not the laws of this country, thanks to the liberal/socialist, who now are trying to fill their base with convicts, enough.

  12. As is common with these kinds of polls, questions and answers are not nuanced enough to accurately convey an opinion. I would have liked to had an “it depends” answer for the first question (so I answered “I don’t know”). Technically, Officer Chauvin could be put to death based on a simple “yes” response. Anyone that still has a functioning brain would not call that justice, but I bet many would have called for it. (Note: Many otherwise intelligent and capable people don’t always have a “functioning” brain.)

    1. The idiocy of ‘Defund the Police.’ Someone just broke into my house. What should I do? Why all your Social Worker, of course

  13. This website ( americacitizenpress) keeps on censoring my comments, it’s just another site pretending to be open to comments, exchange of ideas ….

Fake, just like any others !!!!!!

    1. Hi TheDragon,

All of the comments on our website have to go through moderation at this time to prevent bots from spamming the comments. We are doing our best to approve all comments from humans (and dragons) as quickly as possible, but we have a small team and cannot monitor them 24/7. We appreciate your patience and your interest in the site!

  14. Many of these comments sound drastic and a bit hysterical, and yet I agree with almost all of them. As long as violent criminals know they won’t be permanently held responsible for their actions, they’ll continue to victimize anyone they feel crosses their needs and intentions. I especially agree that once someone is convicted of a murder or attempted murder, there should only be a brief time until execution. If it’s a solid conviction, there doesn’t need to be time given for some slimeball attorney to manipulate the court trying to get the criminal off. The extra cost of confinement is inexcusable. Maybe if the publicity-seeking attorneys would be charged for the delay, they might think twice too about wasting public funds. The pendulum has swung way too far in favor of crime.
