County Bans Coca-Cola Machines from Government Buildings for the Company Acting Like Woke Partisan Hacks

Surry County, NC — Surry County in North Carolina just banned Coca-Cola machines from government buildings for the company acting like woke partisan hacks.

This is too funny not to write about, but it’s also important.

The vending machines were banned with a 3-2 vote in response to Coca-Cola’s opposition to Georgia’s new election security law.

“The left wing in America, they defund, they boycott, they cancel, they tear down statues – all sorts of egregious actions,” county commissioner Eddie Harris told WXII in a video interview. “The expectation from them is the opposing political side will cower in the corner and we’re supposed to accept that and it’s supposed to be OK. And it’s not OK.”

From The Daily Caller

While not surprising, something you should note is that WXII NBC 12 failed to print Harris’ quote in their article covering the incident. Instead, what we can only assume is a local NBC liberal rag, cherry-picked and framed quotes in an attempt to paint the commissioner in a negative light.

With that note out of the way, Harris makes an important point here. If conservatives, hell, our country, is going to survive, we cannot cower in the corner and take our licks from woke corporate America.

The only way forward is to stand up, fight back, and call these companies out.

Removing a few vending machines from government buildings in one county may not make a huge dent in Coca-Cola’s pocketbook. Still, it should make companies like Coca-Cola consider the implications of parroting far-left political talking points and using their power to force ideologies on people who disagree with them.

Americans who continue to feel slighted by huge corporations are going to draw a line in the sand.

Professional sports leagues are already feeling the heat from ratings drops due to their incessant need to involve themselves in politics.

If executives at Coca-Cola believe they are immune to pushback for making stupid politically charged statements, they have another thing coming to them.

  1. I trashed all my Coca-Cola and replaced with Pepsi cola and guess what???, realized I had forgotten how much Better Pepsi really tastes than coke!!!

    1. Pepsicola Corp is so far left they are off the map, anti gun pro abortion, I quit drinking soda pop altogether.

  2. Good for County Commissioner Eddie Harris for calling out Coca Cola. Who exactly do these woke idiots think they are, and why do they think they command so much power over the common man. Time to let them know who the boss is. It’s the consumer, not Coke’s PR/Marketing machine.

  3. I love this. Hopefully, we will see more people pushing back against the woke companies. As they say, go woke, go broke. Let them get their money from their woke audience, since they seem to be more important to the woke companies than conservative, patriotic American citizens. I live in Georgia, and have always supported Coke, but no more. I’m done with them, and hope they rot. They don’t deserve the support of Georgians or other American citizens. They have shown themselves to be traitors, so if they are banned, it serves them right.

  4. It is pleasing to hear others having the same opinion. The executive suites of Coke, Amazon, Kelloggs, and the like are expressing there opinions and not necessarily the opinions of the owners (stockholders). These C-Suite elites need to be held accountable by their boards and stockholders for misrepresenting many, if not the majority, of the owners. Did these elites survey the owners to determine their opinions. Of course not. Please tell me why they should not be disciplined.

  5. I LOVE Coke. It is my drink of choice. I am probably the biggest Coke fan in the US. With that said, it’s surprising how well you can get along on lemonade and tea. I wrote them an email, too. They might as well know what America thinks of them.

  6. It’s the only way to get these woke fools to wake up. Don’t know what business schools these corporate heads went to, but they should get their money bad. If you alienate 25% or more of your market, failure could be right around the bend.

  7. The state of Texas should ban thw sale of all Coke and Kellogs products for sticking thier nose where it does’t belong

  8. I hope this catches on nationwide. Conservatives cannot survive by simply standing idle while the deranged mob of democrat socialists conduct their anti-American rampage. That mob has been very successful in silencing everyone from a sitting and past President, popular U.S. Senators and representatives, governors, conservative commentators and all the way down to little people in small flyover towns.

My posts are censored several times every day even though I never use profanity, obscenity, gore, pornography or any of the objectionable expressions typically used to justify censorship. Individual boycotts rarely are successful. But at the government or corporate level, ejecting products of oppressive, liberal organizations and other corporations eventually will prove the worth of FREE enterprise.
