Washington, D.C. — Is Chris Wallace actually surprised by President Joe Biden’s lack of transparency on the migrant crisis at the southern border?
In an interview with Jen Psaki on Fox News Sunday, Wallace addressed Biden’s refusal to commit to transparency on the border crisis.
Wallace noted that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “We are on pace to encounter more individuals on the southwest border than we have in the last 20 years.”
Wallace asked Psaki, “Who is wrong, the DHS secretary or the president?”
Psaki gave a non-answer, but Wallace pressed Psaki.
“The only way we know how bad conditions are for some 5,000 minors in his Border Patrol facilities is because of these pictures that members of Congress have released on their own,” Wallace said. “Jen, these kids are living in these conditions now. They’re not living in these conditions some indeterminate time from now when the president says everything will be fixed. So why not allow reporters and camera crews in on a pool basis safely to take pictures and show the American people what’s happening in those Border Patrol facilities right now?”
Psaki again dodged the question, claiming the Biden administration is “absolutely committed” to transparency.
Of course, every non-brainwashed American can look at Biden’s refusal to allow reporters into these Border Patrol facilities and understand that Biden is NOT committed to transparency. Biden does not want reporters in these facilities because the situation is becoming worse by the day.
There are over 18,000 unaccompanied minors currently in Border Patrol custody. That is up 3,000 from last Wednesday.
On top of that, the President of Mexico is publicly blaming Biden for inviting the surge of migrants to the United States.
We are not sure what Wallace expected from a Biden administration. Judging by his soft treatment of Biden during the first presidential debate, he must have thought they would be pals.
Wallace is a joke, but at least he called out Biden for lying and withholding information from the American people.
