Austin, TX — Former President Donald Trump planned a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border before Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump just announced that he will visit the border on June 30 with Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R).
Last month, Abbott declared a state of emergency in response to the border crisis President Joe Biden’s policies have caused.
Instead of planning her own trip to the border to address the crisis, Harris isn’t taking the issue seriously. When asked why she had not visited the border in an interview, Harris just laughed.
But she hasn’t been to Europe either, so it’s fine.
Trump issued a statement saying, “The Biden Administration inherited from me the strongest, safest, and most secure border in US history and in mere weeks they turned it into the single worst border crisis in US history. It’s an unmitigated disaster zone.”

I am doing as good a job as far as the border goes as Harris. Neither of us are doing anything. I haven’t been there either. The only difference is I can’t go and she could go every day if she wanted to.
