Washington, D.C. — News recently broke that the Department of Defense is planning to keep the National Guard and potentially active duty military personnel in D.C. through fall 2021.
Ongoing security concerns, national unrest, and countless other excuses are being thrown around as to why there is a military presence at the U.S. Capitol.
In an interview on Fox & Friends, Representative Lisa McClain (R-MI) said, “Myself and several of my colleagues have asked Nancy Pelosi for a briefing as to why do we need these troops here, and we have received zero information, zero.”
The American people and their representatives are being given no answers on these militaristic actions on American soil. As a result, the best anyone can do is speculate.
Well, this is the real reason Democrats want the military in D.C. Newsflash, “unity” is not one of those reasons.
The military presence serves multiple purposes for Democrats, who now control both the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government.
First and foremost, it is a show of force to remind everyone who is in charge — but there is more to it than that.
The military presence makes it easier for Democrats to demonize an entire section of Americans based on their support of former President Donald Trump. Democrats impeached and tried Trump not because they thought they could convict him on the charge of “incitement of insurrection,” but because they wanted to paint all of his supporters as a danger to society.
The latest excuse to keep the National Guard in D.C. was security during the impeachment trial in the Senate. Now that the trial has concluded, we find out there are plans to not only extend the National Guard presence in D.C. but potentially to bring in active duty military service members.
By placing thousands of servicemen and servicewomen in a perimeter around the Capitol, Democrats feed the narrative that they are not safe, and it is the fault of all the Trump supporters who are just like the goons that breeched the Capitol.
Make no mistake, the violence that occurred on Jan. 6 is inexcusable. Anybody that committed a crime that day should face the consequences of their actions after a fair trial. It is just as inexcusable for Democrats to create a police state in D.C. based on the narrative that Trump supporters are a danger to society based on the terrible actions of rioters on Jan. 6.
Inexcusable or not, that is the exact narrative Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) want to create.
Just like Trump’s second impeachment trial, the military presence in D.C. is intended to demonize his supporters, and by extension, the entire Republican party.
This is made clear in Democrat rhetoric. They claim that the 43 United States Senators who voted to acquit Trump are themselves guilty for the crimes of individuals on Jan. 6.
Those that recognize this is a fallacy called “guilt by association” can read through the bias and ask the tough questions.
Unfortunately, it is an effective tool used to discredit countless people throughout history, and it certainly does not hurt that big tech and the liberal media are backing the narrative.
The Democrats want the military in D.C. so that they have something tangible to point to when they make their absurd claims of guilt by association.
Democrats are using honorable men and women for political theater aimed at solidifying Democrat control and undermining their political opponents. These are the actions of political thugs, tyrants, and snake oil salesmen, not representatives of the people.
If a true threat to Washington, D.C. exists, the American people and their representatives deserve an explanation.
I could go on and on about how this narrative also helps drown out the months of rioting, looting, and burning of American cities perpetrated by thugs in the Antifa and the BLM movements, but I think you get the picture.
As it stands today, our country is on track to waste billions of dollars so Democrats can accuse their political opponents with impunity while they paint themselves as the victims.

Democrats are on display in the firm of men in uniform protecting our capital building. You ask what for? It’s so they can maintain the story that protection is needed. Ask again in 2022 & answer will be the same. Why all this? Democrats have expensive ways of expressing themselves.
I think there is another reason as well: They are protecting themselves in case some of the investigations into the voting fiasco actually get past the roadblocks put up by the current powers that be and it turns out that they are true and the election was stolen. If that happens they will be prepared for some nasty reactions to that news. They do not plan on giving up their power no matter what.

I applaud the states that have called their Nation Guard home. All states were run by Republican governors. This is the way the commies always show power – show military force. I feel sorry for these men and women who are being used as political pawns for the Dems. And are they still relegated to the garages until the end of 2021?

A single question should be asked…what are the rules of engagement given to them? We do know they were issued live ammo but do not know if they free fire orders. We already know the reason they are there but under whose direction? Pelosi does not have any authority to call or keep them there. She is in charge of the security (police only) to the House.
