Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY)

Washington, D.C. — Ten House Republicans voted for the article of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Wednesday afternoon.

Ultimately, 232 voted to impeach Trump. A total of 197 opposed the article of impeachment for “incitement of insurrection.”

These 10 Republicans voted for impeachment:

  • Rep. Liz Cheney (WY)
  • Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (OH)
  • Rep. Jamie Herrera-Beutler (WA)
  • Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA)
  • Rep. John Katko (NY)
  • Rep. Adam Kinzinger (IL)
  • Rep. Peter Meijer of (MI)
  • Rep. Fred Upton (MI)
  • Rep. Tom Rice (SC)
  • Rep. David Valadao (CA)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made it clear impeachment proceedings in the Senate would not start before Senators return on Jan. 19. That means the Senate will not vote to convict Trump on the charge until after President-elect Joe Biden takes office on Jan. 20.

The vote came after Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube blacklisted Trump from posting on their services.

  1. Every one of these rinos should be expelled from the republican party. ALL rino dem kissers should be expelled from the republican party. We need a new truly conservative party !

  2. I want my Republican Party back!
    Amazing! Appalling! Disgusting!
Do these 10 plus Republicans in Congress think that they ARE the Republican Party? How about the rest of us Republicans in this country that register Republican, send money and vote Republican? How about us? For generations families like mine have been registered Republicans, (millions of us)? WE don’t count? We are the invisible Republicans. We could be in the same room and YOU don’t see us! Have any of you consulted your CONSTITUENTS before mouthing off? You never ask! You just do horrible RINO things against us. And our country. Our President. You RINOs have made our party a circus. According to CAGW (Citizens Against Government Waste), most of you have very low scores for finance accountabilities. You should be fired on that alone. Stay disconnected to your constituents and see if you stay in office. 2022 a coming! 2024 wait and see! And “no” I am not going to switch parties!

  3. This is so sad that this could even happen without any facts and with any chance for President Trump to defend himself. They didn’t even know the facts at what he said. They hear what the witch Pelosi and her friends at CNN, MSNBC, etc., say and they should know how corrupt they are. Liz, baby, is not representing the people of Wyoming and neither are the other 9 creeps. I hope and pray they don’t sleep at nights knowing how sad this is.
