Mayor de Blasio Says NYC will Eliminate City Contracts with Trump Org Due to ‘Criminal Activity’

Washington, D.C. — Mayor Bill de Blasio says New York City will eliminate all city contracts with the Trump Organization due to “criminal activity.”

The Trump Organization holds contracts for a golf course, a carousel, and two ice rinks in the city.

He claimed President Donald Trump “engaged in criminal activity,” which allowed the city to end the Trump Organization’s contracts.

The mayor claimed his legal team assessed the situation and determined that Trump “engaged in criminal activity.” He further claimed that Trump “directed a mob to attack the U.S. Congress” despite no recorded evidence of Trump directly ordering protesters to take that action.

Yes, Trump is likely facing a second impeachment trial after today. However, a trial in the U.S. Senate will not be completed until after President-elect Joe Biden takes office on Jan. 20.

Trump has not been convicted of a criminal offense.

However, the media, politicians, big tech, and now de Blasio have all convicted him in a court of opinion with no trial. We do not agree with all of Trump’s actions, especially in recent weeks. Regardless, every person in the United States has a right to due process.

This is just one more example of powerful people using their positions to take everything from Trump.
