President Trump in Farewell Address: “We did what we came here to do”

Washington, D.C. — Last night, President Trump delivered his final speech as President of the United States.

Trump took the time to give thanks to his family, his staff, and to the law enforcement that protected him over the last four years.

Trump also once again disavowed the January 6 attacks on the United States Capitol. The President called for peace, acknowledging that while Americans have many political disagreements, “we are a nation of incredible, decent, faithful, and peace-loving citizens who all want our country to thrive and flourish and be very, very successful and good. We are a truly magnificent nation.”

Washington, D.C., is currently covered with members of the National Guard defending the Capitol on Inauguration Day to protect against potentially violent pro-Trump demonstrations.

Trump urged his supporters to maintain peace.

While President Trump is not attending the inauguration of his successor, he reemphasized his commitment to a peaceful transition of power.

Over the last four years, President Trump did make good on a few of his promises, most notably tax reform. Many of his action items are still left uncompleted, though, including his promise to end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and his promise to repeal Obamacare.

President Trump highlighted a few of his successes in his address:

“We passed the largest package of tax cuts and reforms in American history. We slashed more job-killing regulations than any administration had ever done before. We fix our broken trade deals, withdrew from the horrible Trans-Pacific Partnership and the impossible Paris Climate Accord, renegotiated the one-sided South Korea deal. And we replaced NAFTA with the groundbreaking USMCA, that’s Mexico and Canada, a deal that’s worked out very, very well.”

Joe Biden enters office meaning to undo many of these actions. The first of which is to re-enter the Paris Climate Accords via Executive Order.

Trump ended his farewell address with a promise that his movement has not ended. As President Trump shifts into the private life, it is anyone’s guess as to how active he will be in the political realm.

Rumors are already circulating that he may be contemplating starting a new political party, called the “Patriot Party.” If he follows through with that, it will have massive implications for the Republican party going forward.

  1. 01202021, slojoe, wonder how this will play out, trojan horse in the w.h., there by fraud, perpetrated by the liberal/socialist party. The planning started long ago, funded by dark money from those who seek to destroy this Republic. There were those who warned others this was in the making, but not enough were listening, nor care, too many were dismissive about what was being said, the ominous warning given. No one paid attention when sorros, clinton, big businesses, other countries funded many of the ss, county clerk. atty. gen races in 2017-2019 to ensure his, their people where in office. During that time others, like clinton’s groups funded primaries, to ensure no conservatives got elected. So here we are, a trojan horse, with nefarious funding, connections sitting in the oval office, it not understand that he/it will be removed by his own party as planned, too much is know about his/it’s outside connections, they will use that against him, along with the play out of his lack of mental capacity, at which time the political climate will get darker. So what are people/sheeple prepared to do, my guess, nothing, no more spirit of 1776, no back bone, etc, wonder what others think or are will to write, or just cower

    1. I can only say WOW! It is over whelming ! I am sorry for people who have no clue and only hated Trump because they were told to! I can’t watch what is coming

    2. Well said, sadly… it is just so frustrating the lack of information/censoring that is going on. ‘They’ have us where they want us, so busy working, working, working, that we do not pay attention/trust that they are doing ‘their’ jobs taking care of the country. Now introduce things such as the Dominion voting software and we have to get sooooo much smarter or we are done! It is sometimes overwhelming that the evil seems to be ruling…
