El Paso, TX — Vice President Kamala Harris is finally visiting the border after Trump announced his own trip back on June 15.
It’s been over 90 days since President Joe Biden appointed Harris the lead on the border crisis Biden’s policies created. Yet, she waited until Trump announced he would visit the border to schedule her own trip.
Harris is set to visit El Paso with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday.
Trump quickly responded to Harris’ announcement with a statement of his own.
“After months of ignoring the crisis at the Southern Border, it is great that we got Kamala Harris to finally go and see the tremendous destruction and death that they’ve created — a direct result of Biden ending my very tough but fair Border policies,” read Trump’s statement.
Trump also suggested that had he not scheduled his own visit for June 30, Harris “would have never gone.”
Harris’ visit to El Paso certainly looks like a reactionary decision so she can save face for her inaction.
The vice president took considerable heat recently for blowing off a left-wing journalist who confronted her about not visiting the border.
“You haven’t been to the border,” NBC’s Lester Holt pressed Harris earlier in June.
“And I haven’t been to Europe,” Harris quipped back, cackling like a lunatic because she cannot handle a hard question.
Harris laughed at the prospect of visiting the border and continues to disregard the massive humanitarian crisis Biden’s policies created.
Tomorrow is unlikely to be anything more than a quick photo op so Harris can save face when Trump visits the border on Monday.
Pay close attention to how the media treats both Trump and Harris during their respective visits. Harris will get easy questions and the benefit of the doubt while the media attempts to chase Trump back to Florida with accusations of racism and bigotry.

I do agree with the extreme differences in reporting this blundering administration’s failures and President Trump’s success. I believe most, who voted for O’biden, will know what they got in the years to come. 20/20 hindsight not much good. Must do your homework before voting, know what your candidate has done in the past. O’biden is a racist, no account from long ago.
