Dan Bongino Chosen to Fill Rush Limbaugh’s Radio Spot

Washington, D.C. — Dan Bongino has been chosen to fill Rush Limbaugh’s 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (ET) radio spot, according to Cumulus Media’s Westwood One.

The conservative radio legend passed away in February at 70 after a battle with lung cancer. Bongino praised Limbaugh after his passing, saying, “Every conservative I know, everyone has had that Rush Limbaugh moment where they were listening and heard an idea for the first time ever.”

Though the Rush Limbaugh Show can never be replaced, reruns of the show cannot air in the three-hour time slot forever, either.

Bongino, a rising conservative media personality, is a fitting choice to fill the airwaves. The Dan Bongino Show will reportedly be adapted from its current one-hour format to fit the three-hour time slot held by Limbaugh for dozens of years.

Bongino is a former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer. An excellent choice to carry the torch for the conservative grassroots, he is willing to call out both Democrats and Republicans for their political mistakes.

    1. Love Bongino. Rush was truly the very best ever!!! Loved Rush!! Bongino is really good also, but no one can ever really replace Rush!!

  1. It’s a shame that Cox Media (WSB Radio in Atlanta, GA) has CHOSEN NOT TO KEEP THE RUSH LIMBAUGH TIME SLOT WITH BOGINO! Instead, we only have a moderate — Eric Erickson — to listen to. For a major metro market to lose listeners after decades of strong conservative talk show hosts (Rush Limbaugh, Neal Boortz, Herman Cain, etc.) is just a travesty!!!

  2. What an OUTSTANDING Choice!! Dan is well known for his patriotic and information packed commentary on today’s issues. I thoroughly enjoy his ability to deliver and expose the Left’s rotten to the core agenda. “Rush” will rest in peace with Dan behind the Golden Mic.

  3. I believe that Dan will do fine but I hope he does frequent playbacks of Rush in the context of current issues as Rush’s wisdom is timeless and forever pertinent.
