Salem, OR – Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D) imposed a six-person limit on Thanksgiving celebrations and told neighbors to snitch on anyone in violation.
The authoritarian governor imposed the strict rules by executive order.
Anyone found in violation of Brown’s restrictions could face up to a $1,250 fine and or up to 30 days in jail.

This is what Brown had to say.
“This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,” Brown said in an interview Friday. “What do neighbors do [in that case]? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy. This is just like that. It’s like a violation of a noise ordinance.”

Brown’s so-called “temporary freeze” does not stop there.
The order limits “faith institutions” to 25 people indoors or 50 people outdoors. These numbers also apply to weddings and funerals. This is a clear violation of people’s right to assemble peacefully.
Brown’s order also closes all in-person dining but leaves take-out and delivery open with restrictions.
All gyms, fitness centers, and indoor sports are closed.
