Pelosi Claims Dem House Elections a Success Because Dems Won Popular Vote

Washington, D.C. – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claims Democrat House elections were a success because Democrats won the popular vote.

So far, Republicans netted nine seats in congressional elections across the country. Democrats lost 12 seats and only flipped three Republican seats.

“Did you know that House Democrats got nearly two million more votes than [President] Donald Trump?” Pelosi said.

She rambled about gerrymandering and promoted the idea that the popular vote is all that matters. This idea undermines the United States Constitution and the election process.

Pelosi also attempted to claim that the Democrat party is a “big tent,” an absurd statement considering her party’s attacks on Republicans and Trump supporters since the election.
