Washington, DC – Breaking News: Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dead at 87. The tough Liberal Lioness finally succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer. Unlike the left who rejoiced when Antonin Scalia passed, we will not do that. We have class, and all life is precious.
Honestly, we disagreed with about every decision and opinion by Justice Ginsburg (R.B.G.). The Clinton appointee definitely had an impact on the Court and America for better or worse. We deeply respected her toughness and intellect – even though she was wrong on so many things. As Americans, we can agree to disagree.
R.B.G. had a great story, as well. She embodied toughness and the American drive to succeed. From Fox News:
She finished first in her class as a Cornell undergrad. Later at Harvard and Columbia Law Schools, she juggled raising a daughter, helping her husband Martin recover from cancer, and finishing her own studies.

Sure, many families deal with this, but very few make it to the Supreme Court. Ginsburg also overcame a different type(s) of cancer earlier in life:
In 1999, came a near tragedy. Diagnosed with colon cancer, she underwent emergency surgery, yet two weeks later, she was back on the bench. While keeping up her workload, she had chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Her only public words at the time: “I am still mending but have progressed steadily.”

She then kept the Pancreatic Cancer at bay for over a decade. Pancreatic Cancer has a high fatality rate.
A 2009 diagnosis for pancreatic cancer led to fears she would retire then, but again, Ginsburg was back on the job within days, even working on her caseload from the hospital bed after initial surgery to remove the tumor. A year later, she was on the bench the day after her husband Martin died from cancer, telling friends privately he would have wanted it that way.

We use a lot of snark and pointed commentary in our articles. Although we’re capable of eloquently saying something positive about someone, we thought this quote honors R.B.G. appropriately:
In law and life, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a role model to the many people she encountered over the years. Her message of success and tolerance go hand in hand, as she explained in 1999, just a month after undergoing cancer surgery: “The challenge is to make and keep our communities places where we can understand, accommodate and celebrate our differences while pulling together for the common good.”

R.I.P. R.B.G., we won’t miss your legal opinions, but we will miss your toughness, grace, and intellect.
As a political note, we don’t see President Trump nominating someone to replace R.B.G. and getting them confirmed before the election. However, appointing R.B.G.’s replacement just became a YUGE issue for the 2020 election.

it was classy as it should have been among a civil society, unlike the counter part to politics they would have bloodied the media , if it had been a Repub, or a conservative. How ever if it had been the other 2 kagan and sotomeyer who have said time after time how they hate the Constitution, and will only judge in an other realm, well may be a few snarks would be appropriate. So now the war begins again, the liberal/socialist will do what ever, any one could imaginable and things beyond any one darkest imagination to disrupt what should be a civil process. The senate needs to be on the side of Our Constitution, not some other agenda, like mittens, collins, mularsky, and others orcs to circumvent appointing a person who up holds the Constitution, the future of our Republic is at stake , make no mistake about it, now the importance of this election has risen to a new level.
