New York, NY – New York Attorney General continues conservative witch hunt. The Democrats know they can’t win on the merits and the issues. Their only chance of winning this election is to destroy the Trump family and make them so toxic no one will vote to re-elect Trump. Four years of this crap hasn’t worked, why would it work now?
New York Attorney General Letitia James is trying to make quite a name for herself. She has become one of the main attack dogs for the left in going after conservatives. You may remember the article we wrote a few weeks ago about her suing to dissolve the National Rife Association (NRA).
In that article, we pointed out how the campaign trail, then-candidate Letitia James, called the NRA a “terrorist organization.” Clearly, this is another liberal nut with an agenda. This agenda continues with her investigation of the Trump Organization.

The attorney general’s office also subpoenaed and sought documents from attorneys and development companies involved with the Trump Organization or several of his properties. Prosecutors argue that attorney-client privilege is being claimed improperly for several thousand documents being withheld by those firms.

Yes, that is the law. You need to have justification beyond a political and legal witch hunt to obtain said information. If you don’t like the phrase “witch hunt,” we’re happy to use “fishing expedition.” This is New Yorker’s tax dollars hard at work.
Manhattan’s District Attorney is on board as well. He is the one trying to get President Trump’s tax returns. The irony and disgusting part of this is they are using money paid in taxes by the President, his organization, and employees to destroy it. This is Big Government at its finest.

If the liberals haven’t figured this out yet, the Trump family will NOT be bullied. It’s apparent to the most casual observer that this is politically motivated. We thought it was funny how Eric Trump avoided the liberal media (like his dad) and posted a response on Twitter:
Hours after the filings, Eric Trump posted on Twitter about James, accusing her of taking action “on the eve of the Republican Convention for political points.”…”Without any basis, the NYAG has pledged to take my father down from the moment she ran for office,” the President’s son wrote, calling James’ actions “the highest level of prosecutorial misconduct.”

Eric Trump is right. The timing is suspect and is politically motivated. The question is, will New York voters hold their Attorney General accountable in the next election?
