Colorado Liberal Crazies Take The Cake

Boulder , Colorado – where out of touch liberals go to commune…

Boulder, CO – Colorado liberal crazies take the cake. If you think the liberals in your state are crazy, you should check out Boulder, Colorado. Places like Berkeley and San Francisco California are commonly known as America’s most liberal areas. However, if you know anything about Boulder, where the University of Colorado’s flagship campus is, then you know Boulder wins this race to the bottom.

We’re not going into all of Boulder’s indiscretion. Republicans should be placed on the Endangered Species List (if they believe in this stuff) in Boulder because few still exist within its city borders. All of this is too bad, because Boulder, CO sits at the base of the Flat Iron mountains, and is beautiful. But, let’s get to the meat of this article.

The inmates are running the asylum. The defund the police movement is being taken to all-new levels. There is a disconnect with reality when it comes to law enforcement by the left. As with any group, there will always be some bad actors, but to stereotype, an entire group of people is intellectually dishonest.

Colorado liberal crazies take the cake.

So let’s jump right into it. In Boulder, all cops are white supremacists. This includes all of the people of color who are in law enforcement. Where is this coming from? From the Colorado Sun:

DiversifyCUnow, the group of BIPOC students, staff, faculty and alumni, now has ties with all four of the CU campuses in the state. On Aug. 18, the team of students, faculty and staff met with state Rep. Leslie Herod, a Denver Democrat who spearheaded the passage of Colorado’s police accountability bill in June, to discuss how defunding a police department might look different on a college campus, than in the city of Denver.

BIPOC isn’t just the kids at the University of Colorado at Boulder; this is the adults – the faculty and staff. The liberal indoctrinators have a disconnect with reality as well. One of the organizers of this group had this to say about the police:

“Divesting from police is divesting from white supremacy,” CU student Gwendalynn Roebke said. “They’d rather speak over us, for us, instead of listening to us.”

All police are white supremacists. Really? Coming from groups that don’t like to be stereotyped, this is the pot calling the kettle black. Where is the proof? Is there some white supremacist secret police organization they exposed that we don’t know about? Clearly, these people are crazy!

So, what’s the plan for this group? What do they want to do?

The group hopes to reallocate some of CUPD’s $7.5 million budget towards mental health training for BIPOC students, by BIPOC students, specific scholarships and housing for students who are Black, Indigenous or people of color, and mandatory and annual 16-week diversity training for all faculty, staff and students.

CUPD is the CU Police Department. Clearly, these students don’t want to be protected. CU has a bunch of Rape Prevention telephones all over campus. Who will answer the call if there aren’t any cops? Logic seems to be lost here.

We often hear that groups need to be proportionately represented. But all of the money will go to students of color. There is one problem with this, most of CU and the City of Boulder are white.

CU is a predominantly white university. It is the least diverse in the Pac-12 athletic conference and the fourth lowest in the state. About 1% of the student population identifies as African American, and the majority of those students are athletes on the football or men’s basketball team, the group said.

So this money isn’t going to help the student body as w whole, it’s going to a select group of people. Are we mistaken in thinking this is all just stupid crazy?

Of course, this was all germinated in the far-left Colorado legislature, led by State Representative Leslie Herod.

With a new social justice movement, primarily started and fueled by the younger generation, Herod thinks student voices must be heard… “I think that the proposal by the students is a great starting place for CUPD to work with them,” Herod said. “We need more mental health professionals and just because we’re in a pandemic does not mean that (we) shouldn’t fund it anymore or fund it even better.”

Yeah, so they’re just getting started. This is liberalism in the most liberal city in the country. Liberalism is a virus more deadly than Corona (low bar). What are you doing to innoculate yourself and your kids? Maybe not sending them to CU is a start.

Colorado liberal crazies take the cake. What do you think, are these Boulderites crazier liberal than other areas? Will defunding the police work? Can these people see the consequences? Post your comments below and on social media.
