Lansing, MI — Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) was caught violating her own COVID-19 policy that was issued nine days ago.
This is according to a Breitbart News report on a photo posted to Facebook of Whitmer and 11 others sitting together at the Landshark in East Lansing, Michigan.
The photo shows Whitmer, her Chief Operations Officer, Tricia Foster, and a group of friends sitting without masks and not socially distanced. This violates Whitmer’s order limiting restaurant capacity that was issued just nine days ago on May 15.

But hey, the rules don’t apply to the elite governing class, right?
WRONG.
Whitmer attempted to apologize for the incident, claiming, “we didn’t stop to think about it.”
The only thing Whitmer “didn’t stop to think about” was reminding her friends not to post photos of her breaking her own rules. You can read her heartfelt apology below.
Now, this order never should have been issued in the first place. New COVID-19 cases had been in decline for weeks before Whitmer even issued the order and appeared to decline no quicker after the order.
However, the blatant hypocrisy of an elected official drunk with power is on full display here.
Throughout the pandemic, Whitmer ruled over Michigan via executive order with no checks on her power. She closed businesses, mandated masks, and even ordered people not to visit their families during the holidays.
She is another elitist liberal who is responsible for eliminating thousands of jobs and permanently closing small businesses.
Despite her blatant hypocrisy, the liberal media remains silent because vaccinated Republicans refusing to wear masks in Congress fits the narrative better than the Governor of Michigan violating her own executive orders.
