Cubans Take to the Streets to Protest Communist Regime

Washington, D.C. — Cubans took to the streets to protest the communist regime and socialized healthcare across the country on Sunday.

What appears to be thousands (if not tens of thousands) of people flooded streets in multiple cities to call for freedom from the communist government.

Reports say the protest began in San Antonio de los Baños in western Cuba. The communist government reportedly shut off internet access in many locations in an attempt to suppress the protests. News and videos of the flooded streets quickly went viral, and the protest spread across the country despite the regime’s efforts to silence the dissidents.

The protests spread to more than 15 cities across the country.

Police attempted to violently suppress the protests, with local reports claiming police beat protesters and arrested hundreds. Other reports claim police shot at unarmed protesters.

Despite these alarming reports, Cuban officials have not released any information regarding the number of arrests, injuries, and deaths surrounding the protests. Due to the secretive nature of the communist government, this information will likely never be released by the Cuban Police.

Protesters gathered in mass, shouting phrases such as “Cuba isn’t yours!” and “we are not afraid.”

The protests stretched from one side of the island to the other, with people flooding the streets in both Havana and Santiago de Cuba.

Miguel Díaz-Canel, the “president” appointed by Raúl Castro, went on television to urge violence against the protesters.

“We are willing to give our lives. They will have to pass over our corpses if they want to confront the Revolution. We are willing to do anything,” said Díaz-Canel.

“We are convening all revolutionary communists to go out to the streets where these provocations are happening and confront them with firmness,” Díaz-Canel ordered. “The order of combat is issued, revolutionaries to the streets.”

Despite the threat of violent repression, the Cuban people are standing up against the communist regime with unprecedented protests. It’s time for the free world to stand with them.

    1. Americans watch what is going on in Cuba and you will get an indication of what is coming to your door.

  1. Biden putting out his communist, nazi vaccination squad. Really. Are we no longer a free country?

Do we no longer have freedom of choice?

Hope their vehicles develop many many flat tires as they attempt to enforce the dictator’s orders.

  2. what took them so long to take to the streets to throw off their overlords, castro’s communist regime.I think with the access to the internet they now know there is a better world out there for them to be involved in. The question is will they be able to succeed, will they be able to force an open election, then elect those who will lead them forward. I hope they do, they now have an opportunity to do so. It will take resolve, sacrifices, some the ultimate sacrifice, against an armed communist police, army. If they succeed the world can open open up to them, there will an in flow of money from other countries, including the USA, who to this point have not invested much, one of a few who have not over decades. There are many countries world wide who have been doing business with Cuba for decades, but not the USA, going back the the Kennedy Administration. If they break free I guess obama will take credit, as he has all ways taken credit for things he did not do, the media will raise him up again, which as usual if not earned, stay tuned.
