Minneapolis, MN — Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota devolved into looting, arson, and riots over the weekend.
Rioters have been looting and burning Minneapolis after a US Marshals task force shot an allegedly armed felon suspected of murder while attempting to serve a warrant. Authorities report that Winston Smith, who is black, reportedly pulled and fired a handgun when the task force attempted to arrest him on Thursday.
Since then, BLM and Antifa “protesters” have taken to the streets for three straight nights of unrest.
Video shows rioters burning dumpsters and blocking intersections in the city. Police eventually surrounded and moved in with a kettle to arrest rioters in video from June 5.
Video posted over the weekend to Riot Archive shows looters attempting to break the window of T-Mobile store.
Several extremely graphic videos show a man being beaten in the street on Saturday night. The man was left lying in the street, bleeding profusely from a head wound while bystanders attempted to assist him before EMS arrived.
Another video tweeted out by the Post Millennial shows an Antifa protester who did not even know the man’s name (Winston Smith) whose death they were “protesting.”
Numerous other videos show dumpsters literally melting in the streets of blockaded intersections.
