Washington, D.C. — President Joe Biden set a record for the third-worst approval rating in history after his first 100 days in office.
Biden’s approval rating sits at 52 percent, according to recent polls.
Only Gerald Ford (48 percent) and Donald Trump (42 percent) held lower approval ratings.
The vastly different media cycles surrounding Trump and Biden are likely somewhat to blame for the 10 point disparity between their 100-day approval ratings. Trump, who experienced aggressively negative reporting by the mainstream media, actually posted a 53 percent disapproval rating after his first 100 days in office. Biden, who received few (if any) scrutiny or tough questions from the press, still earned a 42 percent disapproval rating.
Regardless of whether you believe the media is responsible for Trump’s historically low 100-day approval rating, one thing is clear. Biden’s low approval rating shows that the country is still starkly divided.
Biden’s promise to work for “unity” in America is a bald-faced lie. He has enacted highly controversial policies by executive order and supported legislation with little to no bipartisan support.
The president’s low approval rating shows that a large portion of the country does not approve of these lies and policy positions.
Even Barack Obama held a 69 percent approval rating after his first 100 days in office.
Biden’s actions are leading to greater division across the country, and the numbers back it up.

Of course polls don’t measure how well or poorly a President is performing. They reflect what a small portion of American society think about the President. A large majority of Americans hate Donald Trump and any effort to get an objective opinion from them is futile. Biden’s score from the poll paints a worse scenario for him than did Trump’s because Biden has had the support of the major media outlets. Still, almost half of America, as measured by the poll, thinks Biden is doing a poor job. Trump could have found a cure for Cancer, AIDS, and brokered a peace agreement between Israel and Iran and still received the same poll numbers. Hopefully, after Biden re-engages wirh Iran and lets them proceed to develop nuclear weapons, and dismantles all obstacles to crossing our southern border, resulting in a record violent crime spike in border states, enough people will raise hell. By that time, Israel may have pre-emptively bombed Iran into the stone ages to prevent it from nuking Israel. The Southern border catastrophe will prompt private citizens and states to fund completing The Wall. National Guard troops will guard the length of the US-Mexico border and suffer many casualties because Biden refuses to permit them use lethal force on “…the poor huddled masses coming here for a better life.” By the end of Biden’s 4 years in office, if he lives that long (or doesn’t require involuntary commitment to a skilled nursing facility due to dementia) his approval rating will bottom out at 25%. (75% disapproval). Kamala Harris is a lock for the 2024 Democratic Presidential nominee and chooses as her VP running mate, the Mayor of Portland, Oregon. No shit! Biden will use his Executive Order power to mandate male athletes can compete against female athletes merely by claiming they are female. DNA not considered “fair” to judge someone’s biological sex. The Marine Corps Commandant restores separate bootcamps for male and female recruits and refuses to accept transsexual enlistees and discharges any identified as such during active service.
You know, Democrats had the opportunity to select a woman as its nominee, and maoe history in doing so. Instead, it went with a man who represents the most hated demographic group (as declared by the Democratic party), which is to say they ran with “an old heterosexual white man! How many times did we hear that we (old straight whkte men) are the cause of all America’s problems. We are slaveowners, racists, chauvinists, etc ad nauseum. Still Democrats nominated Joe Biden, old, white, straight Joe! When he fails, it will be obvious that the reasons for his failures lie in his sex, age, and sexual orientation. What the hell are Democrats going to do to compensate for their failure? Pack the US Supreme Court and blame the Middle East turmoil on Israel. And, although it is a longshot, gut the 2nd Amemdmemt as much as possible by Executive Order. I hope I am wrong
I guess it all depends on who you poll. Joe has certainly started off with a bang…more executive orders, more taxed items, more job loss, biggest deficit, all in the first 100 days. By day 200 we’ll be bankrupt, but his polling will be great.
