Anti-Trump Lincoln Project Under Investigation for Corruption, Fraud and Sexual Harassment

Washington, D.C. — The anti-Trump Lincoln Project is under investigation for corruption, fraud, and sexual harassment.

The Lincoln Project, a prominent “Never Trump” organization, announced that the board has decided to seek outside counsel in dealing with numerous issues plaguing the organization, not the least of which are numerous sexual harassment allegations.

According to the organization, co-found John Weaver has at least ten specific sexual harassment allegations made against him by males who worked with the organization and at least two who worked for the organization itself.

Weaver, a 61-year-old married father of two, was purported to be private messaging young gay men on Twitter, offering them jobs before discussing his favorite sexual positions.

This information was sent to the board in June 2020 when the organization was gearing towards running ads against Donald Trump. Despite this knowledge, the organization ignored these accusations, only speaking on them publicly last month, saying they were “shocked” and were unaware of the allegations.

This is not the only issue troubling the organization, as they have been targeted by some of their own donors as being a scam. In fact, of the $90 million raised by the organization, less than $27 million was spent on the election, the rest going to staff and board members.

Donors and reporters have uncovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in debts paid by board members, multiple million-dollar bonuses, and a slew of multi-million-dollar house purchases made with income from the organization.
