Washington D.C. — Conflicting polls show a razor-thin margin in the two Senate runoff elections in Georgia.
A poll from liberal organization All In Together shows both incumbent Republican Senators ahead but within the margin of error.
Incumbent GOP Senator David Perdue leads Democrat Jon Ossoff 51 percent to 49 percent, respectively. Likewise, incumbent GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler leads Democrat Raphael Warnock 51 percent to 48 percent.
Other polls show the Democrat challengers ahead.
A poll from Survey USA shows Ossoff leading Perdue and Warnock leading Loeffler.
- Jon Ossoff (51%)
- David Perdue (46%)
- Raphael Warnock (52%)
- Kelly Loeffler (45%)
A third poll from Political IQ released on Dec. 21 shows the Democrats ahead, but by a tighter margin than the Survey USA poll.
- Jon Ossoff (49%)
- David Perdue (47%)
- Raphael Warnock (49%)
- Kelly Loeffler (48%)
All three polls are within the margin of error.
Considering the current state of polling in the country, these polls are not necessarily a strong indicator of potential results. What these polls do show is that it is anyone’s race in the Georgia runoff elections.
The outcome of the two Jan. 5 elections will dictate the future of American politics.
If Democrats manage to collect both Senate seats, very little will stand in the way of a radical, tax and spend agenda. Expect extensive gun control, socialist-style handouts, and a rapid shift back to former President Barack Obama’s globalist agenda.
If Republicans manage to split the Senate, or win both seats the GOP will have their work cut out for them to stop executive overreach by President-elect Joe Biden.
The future of American politics will be determined by another razor-thin margin in the Georgia runoff.
