Washington, D.C. – The United States’ goodest girl, “Conan,” is set to visit the White House sometime next week, according to President Donald Trump.
Conan was hurt in the raid that killed notorious ISIS terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, last week. The dog is now back on active duty, at least until she leaves the Middle East for the White House.
Conan trained since birth to work with U.S. military special operations forces. The dog has taken part in about 50 missions over four years of service.
Dogs like Conan take point on dangerous missions, tracking down enemy combatants and keeping American soldiers safe. They are an indispensable part of special operations units and explosives detection.
We look forward to seeing this heroic canine honored for her service at the White House in November.
