New York City, N.Y. – Acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner, Mark Morgan, recently discussed the humanitarian and national security crisis on Fox & Friends.

You can watch the interview below.

During the interview, Brian Kilmeade asserts that there is more cooperation from Mexico than Congress. Morgan agreed.

“Our Congress has sat idly by, while other countries have stepped up and done more. Meanwhile, drugs and illegal aliens are pouring into our country.”

We agree, as well.

Progress is happening with little thanks to Congress. Border apprehensions are up 113% this year. But that does not mean CBP does not need Congress’ support.

Democrats in the House are consumed with the impeachment inquiry. They made it clear they do not want to fund adequate border security. Obviously, protecting the American people from rampant human and drug trafficking is not a priority.

Congress needs to come together and actively assist in solving the crisis at the border. Lives depend on it.
