Washington, D.C. — Democrats in the House are prepared to introduce articles of impeachment on Monday. A total of 185 Democrats already signed on to the measure.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanded President Donald Trump step down, or Vice President Mike Pence invoke the 25th Amendment to forcibly remove him from office.
Congressman Ted Lieu tweeted the announcement.
The articles of impeachment accuse Trump of inciting an insurrection.
It is unlikely a Senate trial will be finished before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell outlined the process for an impeachment trial. In that memo, McConnell said, “the Senate may conduct no business until January 19.”
That means any trial to impeach Trump will happen after Biden takes office.

This is what America is getting for “leadership”? People who have nothing to do but continually waste time with petty squabbles? I wonder if they have the least clue as to why they are in office. Partisan squabbles and selling out their country to fill their pockets, that must surely be the job description.
