Washington, D.C. — An Antifa militant was nearly hit by a truck in Salem, Oregon, while “heavily armed” protesters threw rocks, paint-filled balloons, and other objects at passing vehicles.
Journalist Andy Ngô tweeted a video of the incident, writing, “A rioting #antifa militant was nearly run over by a truck at the Oregon state capitol in Salem. #Antifa have gathered there today with weapons. They’re throwing rocks at vehicles passing by. Police are not getting involved.”
The video shows the truck being assaulted by rioting Antifa militants lining either side of the street.
Other tweets show Antifa militants throwing objects at other passing trucks, one of which turned around to avoid the violent mob.
Police eventually declared the protest an unlawful assembly and ordered the crowd to disperse. At least three people were eventually arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and pointing a laser. Police noted the Antifa militants were “heavily armed” with firearms, weapons, and body armor.
Violent actions like this have become the norm at Antifa protests over the last year.
This particular protest, like many others, was organized in order to silence a peaceful conservative rally happening at the Oregon State Capitol the same day.

With the liberal/socialist in all elected offices they will invoke Marshal Law, to further suppress our Constitutional rights. for total control of this country. Just think of Antifa as “Bowling Pins” when your in your car and they are throwing bricks , rocks using baseball bats and skateboards to harm you or kill you let alone your vehicle. No Antifa would DARE try that in Florida , they just passed a law you can RUN THEM OVER if they are attacking you and your vehicle. The left in DC and democratic run states are allowing this violence to take place because they believe that in doing so, they will prove that supporting confiscating of firearms is warranted. This is nothing more than a ploy on the part of the left to take over, pass laws effecting the lawful and intelligent American Citizen and take away our right to bear arms. Thus making it impossible for us to fight back the efforts of a totalitarian government. The very purpose and reasoning that our founding fathers included the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution.
