The Truth About Seattle’s Law Enforcement Free Zone

ANTIFA and the commies can’t run things…

Seattle, WA – The truth about Seattle’s Law Enforcement Free Zone, also known as “CHAZ” (save the gross jokes). Don’t shoot the messenger here, but the New York Times wrote a pretty decent article about a lawsuit filed by local business owners against the City of Seattle. The article exposes why we can’t let the radical left take over this country.

The media and liberal politicians in Seattle, Washington, tried to paint a rosy picture of what was going on in this “Law Enforcement Free Zone” that declared independence from the city and would not allow law enforcement to enter. However, the reality was something totally different.

An openly gay Arab-American coffee shop owner, not exactly the profile of a Conservative, was interviewed. From the New York Times:

Faizel Khan was being told by the news media and his own mayor that the protests in his hometown were peaceful, with “a block party atmosphere.”…But that was not what he saw through the windows of his Seattle coffee shop. He saw encampments overtaking the sidewalks. He saw roving bands of masked protesters smashing windows and looting.

The truth about Seattle’s Law Enforcement Free Zone.

Wait a minute! I thought these people could police their own? Instead, these bands of liberals immediately moved to crime, smashing windows and looting. Are you surprised at any of this?

Since Seattle and their liberal Mayor allowed the police to abandon the area while cutting off government services, many business owners inside the zone decided to sue – because the government didn’t do their job. Do you see the irony here? Liberals who love government, removed the government for the more radical left, and see what happened?

From the New York Times:

Now a group of local businesses owners — including a locksmith, the owner of a tattoo parlor, a mechanic, the owners of a Mexican restaurant and Mr. Khan — is suing the city. The lawsuit claims that “Seattle’s unprecedented decision to abandon and close off an entire city neighborhood, leaving it unchecked by the police, unserved by fire and emergency health services, and inaccessible to the public” resulted in enormous property damage and lost revenue.

Conservatives know you can’t count on the government, and government dependence has caused the erosion of self-sufficiency and society’s decline. Conservatives and many average non-liberal Americans can police ourselves. This was witnessed by the peaceful protests against closing down businesses, stay-at-home orders, and mask-mandates. Liberals not so much.

So this next quote from the New York Times is especially funny. We can’t let people know, especially conservatives, that the left can’t govern:

Many are nervous about speaking out lest they lend ammunition to a conservative critique of the Black Lives Matter movement. In Portland, Elizabeth Snow McDougall, the owner of Stevens-Ness legal printers, emphasized her support for the cause before describing the damage done to her business.

Yup, your utopian leftist government philosophy doesn’t work. Socialism makes for great discussion and debate in a college class, but its real-world application is a disaster. Now is the time for these lefties to enter the real world.

Now we believe in the 2nd Amendment and the right to protect ourselves. Libertarians would argue there is no need for police. However, what transpired in CHAZ sounds like something out of a mafia movie or documentary.

His name is Rick Hearns and he identified himself as a longtime security guard and mover who is now a Black Lives Matter community guard, in charge of several others. Local merchants pay for his protection, he said as he handed out his business card.

People needed to pay for protection. Sure private security is fine, but if you read this article (that is behind a paywall), this almost sounds like extortion. Especially because these shop owners are already paying taxes for these services.

However, we did like Hearns’ assessment of the two factions in CHAZ. Although we believe many times, these two factions are the same. Here’s what Hearns had to say:

He blamed the destruction and looting on “opportunists,” but also said that much of the damage on Capitol Hill came from a distinct contingent of violent, armed white activists. “It’s antifa,” he said. “They don’t want to see the progress we’ve made. They want chaos.”…Many of the business owners on Capitol Hill agreed: Much of the violence they saw and the intimidation of their patrons came from a group these business owners identified as antifa, which they distinguished from the Black Lives Matter movement. “The idea of taking up the Black movement and turning it into a white occupation, it’s white privilege in its finest definition,” Mr. Khan said. “And that’s what they did.”

Too funny, ANTIFA, often cited as a George Soros funded operation, was the problem. It’s clear, both groups share a disdain for police, so they are united in a cause. If ANTIFA was a problem, then why weren’t they expelled from CHAZ by the Black Lives Matter people. It’s too funny that “White Privilege” gets blamed for everything these days.

However, we don’t disagree with their total assessment. About a year ago, on our sister website, we wrote an article entitled: Violent “social justice” group just a bunch of spoiled white kids.  This confirmed that ANTIFA is just a bunch of spoiled kids, but the Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA aren’t so different here. It is intellectually sound to say there is guilt by association.

The truth about Seattle’s Law Enforcement Free Zone. CHAZ is an excellent example of why Socialism, Marxism, Communism, etc. doesn’t work. These Capitalist Pig liberal business owners (see the humor here) found that out first-hand. When will the rest of these people wake up?

What do you think? Does Marxism work? Will people wake-up to this liberal non-sense? Can liberals govern themselves or us? Write your comments below and on social media!
