Washington, DC – Is Trump The Best Foreign Policy President In History? The better question is, does it matter for this election? We think the answer to both questions could be yes. Read on to find out why.
First, we need to look at the recent competition. We’re not sure we would rank Trump above Reagan. In his famous speech at the Berlin wall, Reagan said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” as a statement to the Soviet Union that they were caging freedom and needed to free people from the tyranny of communism. We believe Reagan almost single-handedly ended The Cold War. This is pretty hard to top. However, Reagan is an outlier for any Presidential comparison.
Bush 41, Reagan’s successor, mostly put the finishing touches on Reagan’s Foreign Policy. Bush 41 also pushed the North American Free Trade Agreement. From a free-market perspective, this could be a win. However, this may have benefitted Mexico more than Canada and the United States. Bush did have that quick and decisive victory in Iraq. But overall, his one term wasn’t that spectacular.

Clinton, well, we will just say it, we think his foreign policy and his heavy international travel schedule was to set up The Clinton Foundation and lay the groundwork for the Clinton’s continued corruption. Clinton had many missteps with Yugoslavia, and he negotiated for Israel to give away some of its lands to the terrorists…we mean Yasser Arafat’s Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). We feel Clinton was a failure at foreign policy.
Then there is Barack Obama. Best known for kneeling to a Saudi King. An embarrassment for an American President, you can make your own assumptions on Obama’s spiritual inclinations. Obama also failed to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, as he promised on the campaign. He signed the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), another trade agreement that didn’t help the United States. Then he and his Secretary of State abandoned our forces and allies in Benghazi. Plus, the terrorist in the Middle East became more emboldened and organized, namely in Iran during Obama. They knew he would do nothing and showed weakness. We can go on, but Obama was a foreign policy disaster.
President Trump inherited the disastrous foreign policy of the Obama Administration. Instead of crying over it, Trump did what he does best, WINNING! Just in the last month, we argue that Trump has been more effective on foreign policy as the past four Presidents combined.
What has President Trump done? We’ll give you the highlights:
President Trump on Friday oversaw the signing of an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo that normalizes economic relations between the two countries — and also includes Kosovo recognizing Israel, and Serbia agreeing to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

Remember how we said Clinton really created a mess in Yugoslavia (former country). Well, Trump just sealed a big win for peace between the split countries. Plus, with Kosovo, which has a sizeable Muslim population, to recognize Israel is YUGE!
The deal came just weeks after Trump announced an agreement had been reached between the United Arab Emirates and Israel on opening up relations between the two countries.

Of course, this came after another YUGE win in August, when Trump brokered a deal to normalize relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. This is a big step toward peace in the Middle East and isolating Iran. But Trump wasn’t done yet.
Bahrain joined the United Arab Emirates in agreeing to normalize relations with Israel on Friday, a move forged partly through shared fears of Iran but one that could leave the Palestinians further isolated.

Remember how we felt Clinton and Obama helped the PLO and other terrorists take land and be emboldened. President Trump has done the exact opposite. He has paved the path for peace and gained more allies in the Middle East against the terrorists. What makes the Bahrain deal important, is that the dominoes are falling in the Middle East. Plus, we found it historic that this was announced on September 11th.
Peace in the Middle East has been a pipe dream to many. Has President Trump single-handedly changed that dynamic. We think so, and he should be ranked up there as one of the best foreign policy Presidents. President Trump promised to Make America Great Again, part of that has to be international policy.
We could write a whole article on Trump beating the snot out of China, and we probably will. Needless to say, Trump is a WINNER on foreign policy.
