How To Get Rid of State-Sponsored Black Lives Matter Street Murals

Clean that mess off our streets!

Redwood City, CA – How to get rid of state-sponsored Black Lives Matter street murals. This story almost slipped through the cracks because it was under-reported (not shockingly!). These murals are popping up all over the place. Municipalities are using YOUR tax dollars to paint semi-permanent murals that read “Black Lives Matter” on local streets. After we throw in some filler, let’s talk about how we stop this and clean this up.

Some cities are even renaming streets in honor of this George Soros funded movement (we don’t agree with police brutality, but we’d be remiss not to point out who is financing this astroturf political movement). Of course, the Mayor of Washington, DC, who is using her city departments to go after President Trump, decided to name part of the street and plaza outside the White House, “Black Lives Matter Plaza.” Another liberal political stunt to be sure.

Now let’s take a look at what Redwood City, California, did about their Black Lives Matter street mural. Some quick information on Redwood City, a population of approximately 86,000 in the San Francisco Bay area. Two Democrats represent them in the legislature. We’re not going out on a limb here, but we can label it a liberal city.

Redwood City removed their Black Lives Matter street mural. So, what did it take to have the city’s power-washing crews remove the graffiti mural? We’ll quote the Washington Times here:

Redwood City made the decision after a local attorney noted that the city was letting the Courthouse Square be used as a public forum…Maria Rutenberg requested permission to paint a “MAGA 2020” mural nearby.

Ok, this is a little bit funny. Both because the attorney is constitutionally correct, because to deny the Trump MAGA mural would be “Viewpoint Discrimination” on its face, but also a creative Trump supporter beat them at their own game.

Not everyone was happy with the BLM mural removal or even given the same story as to why it was removed. From The Washington Times:

Afterward, according to BLM mural organizer Daniel Pease, city officials told him his mural had to go for violating traffic and vehicle codes…Mr. Pease told the San Mateo Times that he was “upset and frustrated” that anyone would think that “Black Lives Matter” is a controversial political opinion with other points-of-view possible.

Cities are burning, stores are being looted, graffiti adorns private businesses and public buildings, and the BLM organizer can’t see why “‘Black Lives Matter’ is a controversial political opinion”. Yeah, this guy is pretty clueless.
