All 10 Boulder King Soopers Victims Identified

Boulder, CO — All ten Boulder, Colorado King Soopers victims have been identified by police, including three store employees, a police officer, and other community members.

  • Tralona Bartkowiak, 49
  • Suzanne Fountain, 59
  • Teri Leiker, 51
  • Eric Talley, 51
  • Kevin Mahoney, 61
  • Lynn Murray, 62
  • Jody Waters, 65

Officer Eric Talley was shot and killed while responding to the attack. He was one of the first officers on the scene and leaves behind seven children.

The youngest victim, Denny Stong, worked at the store and was reportedly training to be a pilot. Rikki Olds worked at the King Soopers through the pandemic.

Kevin Mahoney worked in the hotel industry and will never meet his future grandchild after his senseless death.

Tralona Bartkowiak was a local business owner and “the kindest and sweetest lady you ever did know.”

Suzanne Fountain worked as an actress and at a local music venue. Jody Waters was a loving mother of two children.

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold detailed the timeline of the authorities’ investigation.

“The Boulder County Coroner’s Office worked overnight to identify all of the victims and notify the next of kin, which I’m extremely grateful for,” Herold said. “The last victim was removed from the scene at 1:30 am today.

“By 2:02 a.m. all the victims have been identified. By 3:59 a.m., the families of the victims have been notified.”

Police said a 21-year-old man, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, has been arrested in connection to the shooting rampage.

  1. I find it amazing that other amendments to the Constitution are being followed and used by governments but the first and especially the second are being challenged at every level of government. What part of “shall not” do you not understand? The Constitution was written as a stop sign to government not as the only rights the citizens have. But examine the two that government wants removed. The 1st and 2nd are the only ones that threaten their rule of being a “senate rule” as was used in Rome after they killed the emperor. A one world government is not possible as long as the United States remains free and retain their rights to keep weapons. If safety was a real concern the Auto would have been removed a long time ago. Check out what kills the most people a year and it will not be guns but we will not remain free without they.
