Washington D.C. — Stimulus checks are still possible in the second coronavirus relief bill. Leaders are reportedly discussing adding stimulus checks to the $908 billion measure under discussion.
The size of the stimulus checks under discussion is not known.
Back in March, Congress passed a massive “relief” bill that issued $1,200 stimulus checks. Anyone earning less than $99,000 per year was eligible.
The $2.2 trillion package drew outrage due to handouts to controversial groups such as Planned Parenthood. The abortion provider accepted tens of millions in Paycheck Protection Program loans.
Calls for direct stimulus checks are intensifying as unemployment worsens under new government lockdowns.
States and local governments also received massive bailouts from the CARES Act. This is not expected in the current bill under discussion.
The bill does include $300 per week in jobless aid totaling $748 billion. Not quite the $600 per week offered earlier in the year.
With a looming government shutdown on Friday, legislators are rushing to add the relief package to the omnibus spending bill.

The MSM broadcasters are making extremely high wages. In so doing they are also destroying there children’s and grand children’s future. They are among the most disreputable people I can think of. My contempt for them is beyond anything I could ever imagine.
