Cleveland, OH – Our unbiased analysis: Presidential Debate #1. Debate number one is in the books, and we mean history books. We believe this debate was like no other in recent American history.
If you’re a Democrat, you think Biden won. If you’re a Republican or supporter of the President, you think President Trump won. If you have been a casual observer of debates and modern politics, you’re thinking, “WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!”
The gloves came off. There was chaos. There was acrimony. President Trump was aggressive. Biden definitely wasn’t the Alpha Male on stage, even though he ranked higher in the pack than Chris Wallace, who was entirely out of his depth.

As we wrote yesterday: “Now, Biden has plenty of potential to put up a good debate performance. With his campaign team hiding him away in a basement somewhere, Biden’s been given plenty of time to prepare.” We think Biden did better than expected, but the bar was set pretty low. Considering all the debate preparation, if that was his “A” Game, then this is definitely the guy we DON’T want in the White House.
President Trump, well, was President Trump. We’re pretty sure he didn’t prepare for the debate. However, he has gotten this far, and that’s pretty far, on being himself and going on instinct. We think he missed a few opportunities to hammer Biden, but you probably enjoyed the performance if you like the President and his style.
One of our staff members made this comment during the debate: “This is like a bad remake of Grumpy Old Men.” The comment was funny on first blush but sad in a sense in it summed up the debate all too well. The debate was light on substance, heavy on personality, and the candidates (and moderator) were fast and loose with the rules.

Here were our keys for each candidate before the debate. First, the challenger, Joe Biden. Biden had a low bar to do well. Here were are key points:
- No “Senior Moments”
- Don’t lose temper
- Appear competent
- Don’t say anything really, really, stupid
Based on Biden’s key points, he did ok except for maybe #4, but on a sliding scale, he did better than typical Biden. Did he win the debate? No. Did he win some votes? Maybe. Did his debate prep pay off? Perhaps – but he has been MIA on the campaign trail for months, so on balance, Biden lost.
We had only two key points for President Trump: Have a short “Trump” answer for any attacks, and don’t say anything monumentally stupid. Well, President Trump was President Trump. The press is crowing about the Proud Boys statement, but we don’t think that hurt him. If you voted for President Trump and liked him going in, there was nothing to change your mind. If you were undecided and wanted an aggressive leader that won’t take any crap, you got that. If you wanted a milquetoast statesman for your President, you will NOT get that this election and never from President Trump.
We don’t think there was a clear winner here. If you believe the social media universe, most people were just critical of the style over substance aspect of the debate. Round two is the Vice-Presidental Candidate Debate. Vice President Mike Pence vs. Senator Kamala Harris. It’s the Mid-west vs. California. Note: California is not in play for this election.

I chose to not even listen or watch. For one thing my mind has been made up about who I want to be in Charge in Washington. I do not want Biden as President. He has dementia and its getting worse and not better. I have seen what Dementia does to a person and its not pretty. The President of the United States had to be on the Top of His or Her game. Which doesn’t mean that Kamala Harris is going to be top notch either. President Trump is a Business Man and we have needed that for several years. No Economy can exist without Jobs. Obama made sure that Jobs were not part of his Game Plan, he is a nothing but a hang on the shirt tail of Biden if he can. No way do we want Obama even part of the Game Plan. We don’t want Michelle in there either. They have betrayed the USA. Biden can’t be President so essentially all we have left is Kamala Harris which has a lot to be desired in a Women of Dignity and she is a reminder of Hilary Clinton being President. An absolute no no. There isn’t any other way to change what has gone on. The Dems can’t stand to lose and there is no other Party strong enough to bring in lots of jobs and who is on the top of the totem pole is Jobs and More Jobs. Trump will keep on working on that plus he needs to work on implementing Gas and Oil under the USA. Trump has never taken a Salary, which Biden is still getting a salary from being a Senator for 47 years and he did nothing then and he won’t do anything again. He is just to pop tart on the top of the flopping Cake.
When Biden was talking about his son Beau, Trump said something about Hunter. Trump brought up the fact that Hunter received millions from the wife of the Moscow mayor and other millions that came to him from China and Ukraine. Biden denied this comment. If I heard this exchange correctly, this is an issue if Biden denies the largess that Hunter received solely because of Joe’s position as VP. Yet, I have heard not one single word from news media or pundits who have extensively studied the transcript. What is the truth? Did Biden deny Hunter received these exorbitant funds or not?
Biden answered no question asked of him.
He’s an elusion.
One thing is for sure……we ALL lose if Trump doesn’t win because they have some real BAD stuff in store for us. Better pray Trump wins. This is no longer the usual dog and pony show we’ve been used to! This one is life or death for all of us, including for Biden lovers.

as a older person, and one who has been hanging 10 for almost 8 decades, there were a few things that came to mind, and my mind will search farther for thoughts. How much prep did it take for biden to not act like his usual self, as a mush minded dolt, not sure what he is saying. Got to wonder what did they do to perk him up, vitamins, stimulants, did hunter draw a few lines for him. The debate, more like 2 dogs circling before the biting, snarling. I think many where looking for Trump to deliver the death blow to slojoe, put him out of his misery, let him retire to the home, and his porridge where he would be more comfortable, but that did not happen. So what happen after the debate, did they have to pump slojoe up again, or put him on ice somewhere. Depending who or what you are the take on on the debate aided by chris wallace, either Trump won?, or slojoe hung on even with chis wallace’s help. The end result is slojoe moved it forward for the their Presidential candidate karmala harris. The debates where just more Kabuki theater which they will be until the moderator is neutral, so why play into the oppositions hands demand a neutral moderator with a whip and a chair to keep them in line, just my thoughts
